kornomaniac
Page from the Latin America Catalog: http://www.makitalatinamerica.com/ebook/ebook_pr/data/950/src/950_18.pdf Shows the new vacuum. It can run from AC or Dc. On Ac is has thesame 1050 Watt engine altho the specifications show a higher suction power so maybe an improved design wich is more efficient? On DC ( Dual 18 V Batteries ) the Suction is halved but almost double the suction power of the makita portable DCV350 vacuum so thats cool =) The power cord is detachable for when you want to run it on batteries

overanalyze
With battery tech improving & brushless motors this makes more sense. Now cordless vac and miter saw need a way to turn on by tool trigger. Some sort of wirless remote trigger?
