Nalu Rash
Thanks for that review Yikkit! I've been contemplating about getting the M18 OMT. I think I'll wait a but though, maybe they will announce a newer, hopefully fuel version in august. Bremon
Pretty sure this is the entire M18 side of the collection. Also had the old style LED flashlight but that's headed to my parents. Also ordered the M12 and M18 lanterns yesterday.

Nalu Rash
Nice collection Bremon! That Sawzall and the Impact Wrench are making me jealous haha. Did the Impact Wrench come bundled with the cover/shoe/rubber condom?

Bremon
Thanks for the kind words guys. Really reinforces a guy's tool addiction!Nice collection Bremon! That Sawzall and the Impact Wrench are making me jealous haha. Did the Impact Wrench come bundled with the cover/shoe/rubber condom?Yeah, I bought it on sale when the kit was 10% off and came with the condom. The circ saw was a free add on with the hammer drill, and Sawzall was free with the impact driver. Bought the grinder for 25ish % off around Christmas. The shop vac was full price because the girlfriend wanted a shop vac for the vehicles. Now I'm so addicted to Fuel and the Canadian dollar is tanking so good deals are harder to come across. Justin Hernandez
I must be blind I did't see a vacuum in the picture until you mentioned it.lol
Bremon
Thanks again guys . The vac does look deceptively like a toolbox. Makes for easy stacking. Still wish they would put out one with either longer runtime or more suction. Taking stuff out together for pictures made me realize all my power tools that have motors except the vacuum are Fuel. I think early on I got caught up in the hype and trying to grow the collection didn't want to buy older tools the could be replaced soon. Now I'm pretty much caught up on all the brushless tools that I can make use of (would like a couple more saws but those are wants not needs). Next month gen2 Fuel orders get submitted though $$$. The planer might be my first non vac/non-Fuel tool.
Bremon
The latest additions, and first Milwaukee purchase of 2015. The M18 seems to be the more well-thought out product.
Justin Hernandez
I want to get into the Milwaukee line just for the lights..lol The latest additions, and first Milwaukee purchase of 2015. Bremon
Yeah, I can't blame you Justin. Their lights are awesome, I'll definitly be interested in seeing the high performance floodlight and M12 spotlight in action. The lineup is diverse enough that they really have something for everyone with regards to lighting.
Justin Hernandez
I like the true view technology, Its hard to tell what color the wire is with other led's and its important for me being an electrician. I wish they made a true view headlamp I would buy it and paint it yellow in a second
Charles Harris
What do you like better about the M18? I have the M12 now and I like it.I recently picked up one of the M18 flood lights. I'm liking it so far.
Bremon
Just the nature of the platform. The slide pack means the battery/electronics housing is compact. The nature of the stem pack means the M12 base is basically the size of the light housing, and because the tool needs to be able to stand with the compact stem pack, just like the Bluetooth speaker, it has a tripod design. At least with the typical design of a speaker it isn't so noticeable, but the m12 light could benefit from being more compact. The footprint of an XC M12 pack would realistically be as big as I would want to see the base of the M12 light. Minor complaint overall, but the awkward angles really detract from it in my opinion, whereas the M18 housing for the light represents a much greater percentage of the tools surface area. Opposite side of this spectrum is I think the M12 stick light is perfect in every way for it's intended use, while the M18 is big and gangly lol. Just picky I guess, but when most of their lights cost $90 Canadian and up, I think we have the right to be.
Justin Hernandez
I am very picky when it comes to spending my money on tools, so it better be as perfect as possible

I suggest that everyone's first Milwaukee purchase should be these scissors to open up all the plastic clam shells they package everything in.
