New toy at work. I was using a makita hammer drill with a standard Chuck before i got this baby and i must say it is a completely different beast. Eats cinderblock for breakfast lunch and dinner.

The blocks aren't the real challenge here, although it still does an effortless job. Its the solid poured foundation walls and brick where it really shines above and beyond the regular hammer/driver drills

You went cordless for your impacts, how do you like the power? I have always felt you needed air power to deliver serious 1/2 drive impact power to the nuts and bolts to break them loose, especially if your dealing with rust. How does those cordless units compare? Have you found a nut or bolt you couldn't break loose with them?

I haven't found a bolt yet that the 1/2 can't take off. This thing doesn't even break a sweat with lug nuts. I compared it to the newest snap on 18v impact in a thread farther down and it blew it out of the water. I haven't used the 3/8 yet so I can't tell you how it does.

Thanks for the information, glad to see that the 1/2 is performing just like its pneumatic counterpart! I am really amazed how far cordless technology has come, I remember the days when you could stop a cordless drill from just holding the chuck, now if you do that, prepare to have burns in your skin lol. Ya, I wouldn't expect too much from the 3/8, those are for light duty work, around the engine kind of stuff. A lot of people don't know that there are sizes above 1/2, like the 5/8 drive and 1 inch drive. Those are industrial impacts made to remove 2 inch bolts or larger, there not typically seen within the consumer market, and mechanics usually only have to use them if they are removing large bolts and nuts off of big rigs or big tractors. :)

You can get th Milwaukee in a 3/4"
