itchyspanner
Hitachi have joined the over 110nm club with the new Hitachi DV18 DBXL with a max torque of 136nm. Thats now Makita followed by Milwaukee gen 2 and now Hitachi....... in the next year or so will we see 140-150. Come on Dewalt its sometimes cool to be late to the party, but dont turn up when the beers been drunk
Bigmikez
Seriously man I agree about Dewalt I still love my yellow but man do they lag, other than that wow that's a cool looking drill from hitachi!
ChrisK
Wow. That's a pretty sweet machine! But seriously, how much torque do we need? I will be in the market for a new hammer at some point and ,y brushed Dewalt 20v was a powerhouse! I used a 4" hole saw through the base sill, and exterior wall and through vinyl siding. It was a work out but she did it just fine. My brother who is a Milwaukee guy was amazed.
Andrull
Self feeding bits in 4" size is what this beast would hunger for. :-D Ordinary hole saws is in my mind a bit of a hassle. Also, you need such power to to everything you do in second gear. Given it is a beast in second gear too.
Logan
Dewalt does need to bring one out and hopefully it will top them all
Rammstein2609
Seriously, 136NM? Have they just added an extra 1NM to say they have the worlds most powerful combi and beat the Milwaukee Gen2?Out of interest, is the rated 136NM EPTA tested?Martin

kornomaniac
Hitachi is their own company. Nothing shated between hitachi and Makita Really want to see some in use comparisons between this drill and the Makita/Milwaukee.Paper specs sometimes have to be taken with a grain of salt ! dwain
Paper specs sometimes have to be taken with a grain of salt ! Indeed, Case in point, the BL Metabo drill that won our big comparison last year was rated ~ 90Nm, and is every bit as powerful as the Makita / Gen2 FUEL drills.
