RickyMcGrath
Anyone have any luck with them? Just found 4 in the top stock at my local HD. HD discontinued them. At first glance: Pro: comes with fittings Cons: doesn't even say DeWalt on the damn hose.

BMack37
Worth it for a penny, you can even sell it if you hate it. Decent rubber or "hybrid" air hoses, made in the USA can be had on Amazon or Amazon warehouse deals for under $30 for 50'
BMack37
Is it Poly? Those appear to be selling(or asking price) for around $26-30 http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DAP14050-Diameter-Polyurethane-Fittings/dp/B0038T6WUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458085344 http://www.ebay.com/itm/DEWALT-HEAVY-DUTY-AIR-HOSE-1-4-x-50-POLYURETHANE-200-PSI-DAP14050-1-4-NPT-/151994303259 http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Dewalt-DAP14050-1-4-x-50-Foot-Yellow-Polyurethane-/401086894383?hash=item5d62a4512f
RickyMcGrath
It's like a poly rubber hybrid. It's rated to 300 PSI. Specs are different on the box than on those sites
RickyMcGrath
It's also made in China. Not the US.

Tekton's made in the USA hybrid 300 PSI air hose sells for $26 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/TEKTON-46137-8-Inch-50-Foot-Restrictors/dp/B00Z1K6I0K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458087012 Unless you want to go by some unknown pawn shop: http://syracuse.craigslist.org/tld/5443965081.html

I honestly think they're high for their version and spot on for your version....that's not to say that you can't get more on Craigslist. I mean how many people are going to know that Tekton has made in the USA air hoses? Name recognition trumps specs for most people. Dewalt fan boys might eat those up at $40, who knows. What's your plan with it/them? Keeping it or flipping it/them?
RickyMcGrath
Not sure. I'll keep at least one, maybe two. My dad may take 1-2. So I'll see what's left and maybe put them on flea-bay.

RickyMcGrath
We opened up a hose yesterday to see how it unwinds and to test its "memory" or the lack thereof. And I have to say that I am very impressed. It's a super light hose but not super cheap. There is virtually no memory in the hose and it winds up nicely. I prefer smaller loops and my dad likes larger loops. We were able to easily take the same hose into our own preferred loop size and maintain a clean bundle. The female end is a quick connect meaning the ends push together without having to pull the sleeve back. The sleeve stays retracted when disconnected and when you go to connect it, it then releases forward to lock it in. Overall, I can not believe these didn't workout for DeWalt.
RickyMcGrath
This is really baffling me..... The model number of the hoses i purchased are not found ANYWHERE. I've scoured DeWalt's website and it's not listed on their "Discontinued Products" page either. All the DeWalt hoses I have found are Polyurethane and do not come with fittings. This one is a hybrid and COMES with male and female ends. I noticed the cases are labeled XXX of 250. I'm beginning to think these are new hoses that haven't been fully released yet.
