  1. In New England it's correct pronounciation is...... re-tahd. As in....... Look at this Chowda Head, he's a freakin' re-tahd! The moron can't figure out how to get his frikin' emails! What a jamoke.
  2. Nice stuff Dwain. Gotta get Mike on here!
  3. Totally agree Comp. my parents moved to a community in Florida and they cannot do anything with out association permission. I pay taxes. I pay the mortgage. That's My part of America. No thanks, I'll stay on my own property! When I went to architectural school I learned about variances and what not and can completely understand their reasoning but I would have a hard time living in a historic area because I like to do my own work and make it my own. I feel for you dude, having to make that kind of a garage would certainly cost a fortune.
  4. You know Jimbo, that Bosch is one of the top line jig saws and I ended up getting the Carvex. I will say, had I not had the DC unit I may have gone with the Bosch. That really is a great jigsaw.
  5. I absolutely love my Wife Comp, but she's dead set on a garage for our house. I think I have convinced her especially as I want to retire in three years. I don't want to add 30k to my mortgage! I will say I might be building or buying (probably the later) a 14x28 shed that I will finish. I'll have 220 serve pice for it and it will be my Woodshop. But it's like 6k as opposed to 30k
  6. Come to think of it, I wish I had a garage!!!!
  7. Great jigsaw Jimbo! I bought a mobile base for my Rikon 10-325 and a some more Bessey K Body clamps. And.......The Ultimate Dust Deputy for the Festool CT Dust Collectors. I should hopefully have it Wednesday and can assemble it that day. It comes with a systainer base to lock onto my Midi. Pretty stoked.
  8. I wouldn't be thanking Carroll, Mike. I'd be going to RI and kicking him squarely in the Mommy Daddy Button! Your doomed dude. Now, get yourself a DC unit.....maybe the Mini or the Midi? Then a TS. Then a Router. Then a CXS (the best most useful drill on the planet......period) or T18. Then a Carvex. Then another router. Oh! I need two more sanding units! Wait! An MFT/3? Oh I gotsta have that! Holy crap! A Kapex?? My wife won't notice! Next thing you know, your laying in a ditch with some dog, trying to keep warm, happens to be a German Shepherd. Clutching a McDonalds kids meal bag with a couple of stale fries wondering......"how the heck did I get in this ditch"??? And why the heck is my wallet empty?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! Seriously. Really cool stuff. I've got that light, I bought it on the recon sale and it's quite the work light! That was really cool of Regopit too!
  9. I can tell you my Dewalt 20v cuts through anything. I have heard the Bosch circular 18v is a phenomenal tool, I have a lot of Bosch cordless tools, just not that one. I am in the process if increasing my Makita tools and will more likely than not get the new Makita brushless circ saw which is going to be a fantastic machine. Milwaukee has an awesome set of 18v Fuel circular saws, arguably the best (to many members (unbiased.....not!) here) in my opinion the non fuel version sucks (I had it and got rid of it a few years ago). I would also add that Ridged just introduced some new brushless tools and one of those ones is a 7-1/4" circular 18v. Regardless, most cordless 18v saws should do you fine if they come in Blue, Yellow, Red, Teal or Green or Orange.
  10. Are you already invested in a battery platform? If not, choose carefully so you can expand your line!
  11. I've got a Kobalt tape in my truck with the fiber blade in Matt gray. I love that tape. I use it all the time when I'm using my Tundra as an impromptu saw horse. Good quality tape too.
  12. I can tell you the impact gun is an awesome gun! Congratulations Chris!!!
  13. Wow. I've had mine for quite a while without problem. I'd be sure to return it for free replacement. My Stanley Bostitch FatMax is the bomb and I use my FastCaps constantly without problem. I like my Milwaukee but my biggest problem is its kind of heavy. Really rugged though. Make sure you contact their warranty service, Milwaukee takes the cake with that area. You'll have a new one in a couple of days.
