Motor swaps....
One of these days, my CJ7 is gonna get one. I'd dearly love to drop a Mustang 5 litre in it, but I'd also like to swap in a little heavier duty five or six speed manual trans at the same time... The OE T5 is not the most durable, plus the first gear ratio ain't the greatest for crawling. A 5.3l LS motor is a possibility, but I'm a pretty fervent FoMoCo fan.
Of course, if I swap the engine, then I gotta replace the AMC M20 rear end, and the Dana 30 front, add an aftermarket frame...

Samuel Adams Porch Rocker.
Hmmm, might have to give this one a shot, if I can find it on the left coast...

Man, I hate to limit myself to only one beer...
Pacifico
Widmer Hefeweizen
Full Sail Amber
There's a microbrewery outside of San Diego called Alpine Beer Company... everything of theirs that I tried was spectacular, but I really liked the Mandarin Nectar
My Eastern Oregon road trip beer is Coors Original in a bottle.... seems like you can get it in just about any old cowboy bar you run across.
Don't even get me started on bourbon and Irish whiskeys....

Since I already have a pretty full compliment of M12 stuff, I would pick up the 2797-22 kit... M18 Fuel HDD and impact driver

Well, I guess I should have been more clear. It's just a hand box that stays in my truck, under the locking tonneau (sp?) cover, not one of the big aluminum boxes that's permanently affixed. If I had one of those in my pickup, I wouldn't have much bed left in my '01 F150 Supercrew's puny 5.5' bed!

No pics, but it was nice out today, and I decided to run a quick inventory of what I have in my truck box and in storage bins that have been rattling around the (covered) bed of my truck. Ace has been running specials on Vise-grips off and on a bit lately, and I've been picking up a few lately. I prefer not to buy Chinese tools, but apparently $5 locking pliers overcome my COO concerns. I ended up switching some of my US locking pliers out for PRC made units in the box, and pulling out a bunch of extra 3/8" ratchets... Snap On 36 tooth standard and long, and a breaker bar, SK standard, Armstrong standard and long flex. Left an Armstrong 1/4", an SK 3/8" stubby, a Gearwrench XP120 standard, a long flex Kobalt, an Armstrong long, and a CM RP 1/2" standard. I also pulled out about three feet of extensions.

Lowes clearanced out tons of Knipex hand tools for next to nothing last last fall/winter. You could get linesman's pliers for like 4-6 bucks a piece.
Sure, kick a guy when he's down. I had just about gotten over not picking up more Knipex when it was cheap...

Cool stuff!

Whoa, flashbacks to when I was doing some IT work on the side... Made a fair amount of CAT5e cables to run from wall jacks to desktops...

Well, you guys suck. Last week, a sander wasn't even on my radar, now I'm the proud new owner of a Bosch 5" ROS20VSK. Now, do I need to get a 1/4 sheet orbital as well? (Anythnig worth doing is worth overdoing...)

I'm just upset I can't win a Commander kit
You can't twist some arms and get a "review unit"?

The potholes here are horrible. The nut on the driver side shock on my truck came off after I hit a couple massive potholes on out road. Of course they filled them in with gravel.
Well, at least they make an effort to appear they're doing something about it! Not actually doing anything productive, but...

Well, yeah, probably. She takes pretty good care of me, and more importantly, tolerates me. Plus, she's a hell of a cook! (how many men have been betrayed by their stomachs?)
-
I really need to get some more M18 tools. All I have now is just the non-Fuel drill-driver.
-
I just hope Big Red comes out with a Fuel oscillating tool before I make the jump...

Clearly there is a Mrs. BK as he knows how the game is played.
Nah, just a GF, but since I mostly work on her house, she tolerates me and my tool obsession. I'm a champion justifier...
I just have to buy her new shoes once in a while...

Well this guy has a different take on selling motorcycle parts than the last guy, and I think it might be a winner compared to the ad Regopit posted.

Gee, I have never wanted a Buell Blast before, but somehow, I'm feeling the, uh, urge for one now...

Awesome!

Looks good, Mr. C!
I guess that's a sign of how pervasive the PRC-made lobster claw wrenches have become around here, but the open ends on the wrenches look absolutely svelt!

This probably makes me a huge hypoctate, but I don't buy any of the PRC Vise Grips.... Unless I get them on sale for $5 like they are at Ace right now.
I do have maybe a half dozen of the last of the US made Vise Grips, and honestly, I can't tell much difference.
I will be picking up some Grip Ons, and some Knipex, sometime in the near future....

Okay, thanks, fellas.
