I wonder if it's going to resemble a typical sidewinder, or maybe more like a Rockwell Versacut?

I was going to be the second dissenter... Buy the non-hammer so you can justify getting the hammer drill later! jk

So, FNG orbital sander question: is a variable speed handy/necessary, or do you typically just crank it up to 11 and let 'er rip?

Dayum!

I have a nearly new 2ah M18 I could loan you if you want to do a retest...

Bummer, man. Nothing worse than going out of your way to help someone and having them spit in your face...

I guess I'm just a tool whore(der)... I wish I could stick to just one brand, but most every line has it's charms... Plus, the German ancestry comes out in strange ways...

The only new Vise Grip I have seen lately that wasn't PRC was a little long nose model... And it was Taiwan...

Kinda wish the combo kit would have been available when I got mine, but I guess this way I have a couple of extra batteries and another charger (just what I needed, another charger...

Yeah I think that would be better for everyone, everyone is off work, i just happened to be on after mowing the grass and I saw it.
Oh, sure, throw us Left Coasters under the bus! (kidding!)

But she's a grade A psycho!
Isn't that kind of redundant?

Yeah, good thing he put the other two pics in there. I had a difficult time seeing it in the first pic.

Hey thanks BK13, I would love a belt clip for my m12 hammer drill but the problem is they didn't design it for adding one for the old brushed stuff. All those improvements came with the new set of brushed m12 tools
Thought that might be the case, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

That's answers my own question! I'm mad cause not to long ago I bought the old boring hackzall...
I got mine as a BOGO with my angle drill, so I'm not that bummed. But that might have been different if I had parted with actual money for it...

That's great let me know how you like the m12 fuel impact.
I have the older brushed m12 hammer drill. The new one has identical performance on paper. I like mine a lot. Lots of power in a small package. It's got plenty of torque on the first speed. The only thing I would change is adding a belt clip which the new one has
I have clips on all of mine, and I'm sure I'll never use the clip on my 2454. If you have a place to mount it, I could mail it out to you...

Thanks. Probably easier just to order from the interwebs, then.

So are they just carrying Milwaukie stuff, or are they slapping 'Cornwell' on it?
-
Is it too much to ask for a radio that charges both M12 and M18 batteries?
-
Nice, but I'm not sure I can justify upgrading from my non-Fuel. And I'm a champion justifier.
-
I like my M12 stuff a lot... So far I have the Fuel hammer drill, Fuel 1/4" impact driver, Fuel 3/8" impact wrench, Hackzall, and angle drill

Need? What does that have to do with anything?

-
Just purely selfish desire, but I'd like to see a 1/4" Fuel impact wrench, Fuel non-hammer drill, 1/4" and/or 3/8" ratchet, multitool, and a pile of 4ah batteries.
-
That's the way this shit works BK. One day you're cruising the internet reading about tools, the next thing you know you have 40 ratchets.
Damn, once I get all my tool detritus out of storage I'm going to have to count my ratchets. Definitely not 40, but maybe 25. I need to fill out the 1/2" stuff and get some 3/4" stuff as well.

I'll know I've gone over the edge when I start collecting more battery platforms... Bosch 12 and 18v, IR or DeWalt 20v....
