I have several big distributors in Europe
This time the DCF899 is coming from the UK
keep in mind Europe is a "high price" Zone for Dewalt tools
you really have to shop around !!
But Italy is also real good , a lot of grinder and mitre saw manufacturing is there
To get attractive pricing we try to order in a foreign country and can at least save VAT
(and VAT in most countries is 20%)
shipping in most Europe is great
parcelforce (GLS) and DHL take 2 working day from door step to door step !
if I order from a distributor in UK on Monday before 15:30, the package is here on Wednesday (South Munich, Germany) 16:30
-
well in Germany we have the
"Akku Plus" program (means they just now started selling bare tools more or less in a TSTAK)
anyway
any of the 20 cordless 18v (20Vmax) tools NOW comes in a TSTAK Box (most are TSTAK II) with a specific tool inlay (hard plastic)
so they did away with the foam inlay for tools
I''ll try to post a picture on Tuesday of the dcf620 including feeder in a TSTAK II case
2)
BUT no idea what will happen in USA ! : I assume bags !!!!
cheers

Hi
a few posts from my side today on Dewalt; look at all of them; interesting stuff
well, just got the new Q2 catalog (Europe) and found several new items
DT20739 Diamond blade
used for tile removal (I think called grout)
also stated for cutting "soft" tiles up to 2,2 mm thickness
((little dust generation))
called a carpenter set
new Set DT20731; nothing exciting, just a new config
4 blades AND sanding pad
(this was avail. already individually)
but a nice box
I have been posting since years, somehow my pictures are never shown
just search google for the model numbers and you will see the appropriate pictures
((maybe first reader can mangage this task and include the pictures)
cheers
