  1. Hi

new DeWALT TSTAK Cases / Toolboxes spoted

This is about the time of year that new ebrochures are released in most European countries

..... as of today the new ebrochure for Netherlands is posted on the web

I spotted THREE new TSTAK tools boxes

    a)  DWST1-75799 TSTAK™ cart with handle and wheels

     B) DWST1-75774 TSTAK™ single DEEP TSTAK with storage compartment in lid

    c)  DWST1-71228 TSTAK™ TSTAK "deep" open tote (no lid, strong carrying bar)

    more info to come !!

I try to structure the items / info in seperate posts !

(example : track saw / plunge saw in German ebrochure; a bit pricy !!!!!!!!!!!)

not sure if important: copyright / source Dewalt ebrochure (public post)

Can you take a pic inside the power tough case

    Kenneth Denmark

    different topic

doyou know when the ebrochure incl. flexvolt will be available on the web site ?

    overdue ! (Sept.1)

    Germany released the ebrochure lastweek

    thx

    mike

  3. too little info !

first of all sounds good !

    a) so will there be two products ?

a 110V with minor adaptions to the us variant (i think it would only be the power plug

    B) a 220V version ? / how would this be done ?

    or somekind of transformer ?

please spend a few words and help clarify

    thx

  4. clear statement from Dewalt Europe (also in writing and posted)

US tools are NOT warranted in Europe !

    US tools have UL stamp

for warranty the tool is required to have a CE stamp

(CE would also include tools from South Africa , UAE (Dubai)

    2)

now EU tools CE marked in USA not sure !!

.... pretty much depends on service center

and I know Service Centers in USA have a great customer satisfaction policy

all my CE marked tools (but it was very few) were repaired at no cost

    cheers

  5. @ChrisK

    Hi

that is exactly what I wrote

    23. August 2016 (look at my post)

(thx anyway, hence your comment does not help)

    a)

but let us know when you actually get the tool

    B) anybody know shipping date for the 9,0Ah batt ??

  6. Hi

    ... "available now"

I know it´s all about marketing and product release

    and

    PRODUCT sales

and I understand expectations are up high to get the introduced tools

I scan the dewalt web site at least 2-3 daily

today I noticed the two flexvolt batteries with "availability dates"

    a)

what does "available now" mean ????????????

in reality it is somewhere around 23. August in USA

    beginning August in Europe!

    does this mean NOW ???

    B)

and what does "coming soon" mean ??

    2017 !! ???

does anybody have a bit of specific available date (actually buying AND receiving)

    not a pre-order ??

    look at both pics

    cheers

    mike

  7. Hugh Jass

I´m in the USA at least 3x per year

    West Palm Beach, Fl.

    next time is 7. October

    flying to US our suitcases are always empty;

once price is known (and it will be higher than in US) I can bring along

release in Europe is September 2016

now all we need to know in this forum when approx.release date is in US

financially it makes sense to wait for release date cause cheaper, but does not make much sense if release is only 2017

    cheers

  8. charging times

found some specs / table in German

(I hope everybody knows that min = minutes !!)

the table shows the charging time for the XR slideon batteries; they even have the new 6,0Ah 18V (20vmax*) already included, which is not on market yet

the table specifically states the values for 54V (60Vmax) are not included

    the charger charges with 4Amp

  9. Hi guys,

Here is the release of the DCS520 track saw / plunge saw

initially might be a Europe thing

    release planned September 2016

(my friend is currently testing it)

again, don´t be irretated with the 54Volt Flexvolt battery (= identical to USA VErsion 60V max*)

  10. maybe @ GATORb888

or anybody that can comment constuctively

==> what is the reason / background that the new flexvolt batteries do not have bluetooth functionality

when introducing such a product should they not have this ??

there were so many advantages listed on the 20v max release of bluetooth batt

(and the app, etc. is already there!)

  11. and here  I don´t want to talk about batteries with more than 100wh that are categorized as

    CLASS 9 Hazordous goods

    requires specialist dangerous goods shipping

    = expensive

any why Dewalt flexvolt DOES NOT have to be categorized like this

posts and more info like this will get lost in a single thread !

I want an individual forum/topic category

    cheers

    mike

  12. moderators !

please create a structure as suggested above !

individual tool structure within flexvolt !

I do not want to post pictures of a dual port charger or vacuum cleaner here !

yes ! they will be available !

  13. DeWALT Flexvolt

    well, it´s out now

    AMAZING

there will be many more comments/hints/news/updates ad more products added in this category

I did not study marketing, I´m often unorganized but I would like to ask moderators and the group to bring some kind of structure to the future posts

all hints / wishes / suggestions welcome

    my suggestion

    a kind of directory/topic stucture

    hence

    dewalt flexvolt

    - compatability

    new 60v tools

each tool a own directory / title

    eg..

    - grinder

    - alligator (might be a Europe thing)

    - impact hammer

    - tablesaw

    - chargers

    - chainsaw

    - led

    etc.

    what you guys think ??

    2) I do have some more teasers !

    - there will be a vacuum available in August

    - dual port charger

    cheers

    mike
