    I can now speak of several new products

    watch out for  different posts

     

    NEW DCN680 brad nailer (EU), not sure if USA has same model number

    Brushless XR 18 Gauge Brad Nailer

    DCN680 Brushless XR 18 Gauge Brad Nailer has a compact, lightweight and ergonomic design that makes the tool easy and comfortable to use but durable enough for the work site environment. Mechanical rather than gas operation offers low running costs and consistent performance, even at low temperatures.

    Fitted with a brushless motor that offers increased runtime and durability. Trigger and contact trip lock-off prevent accidental discharge of fastener. With tool free stall/jam clearance to minimise down time. The depth of drive can be easily adjusted using the thumb wheel depth adjuster.

    Two modes of operation: Sequential mode allows for precision placement, Bump operating mode provides the user with production speed of up to 4 nails per second.

     

    DCN680D2: 2x 18 Volt 2.0Ah
    DCN680N: Bare Unit

  3. Flexvolt price reduction

    Hi 

    just browsing my favorite stores, I noticed flexvolt price reduction

     

    HD

    flexvolt kits , T1, 1 battery lowered from $299 to $249

    this includes

    DCG414T1

    DCS388T1

    DCS575T1

     

    the mitre saw and table saw are also lowered at least bz $100

     

    I assume the main reason is the competition !

    Milwalkee has a similar new set with the new battery also priced at $249

    so not a coincidence

    any idea on prices ?

     

    the are both bare tools

     

     

    the DCP580 planer has been available in Europ for more than 6 months !

    of course I own one, a very nice tool

     

    The D-Handle drill will be available 1. April in EU

    available as X1 and N (bare tool)

    N= 355€uro

     

    The Europe Variant has interchangeable chainsaw blades

    no tool is need to change !

    Dewalt (by surprise) is showing some fantastic stuff

    by surprise for Europe they also have the DCS780 dualport Flexvolt and AC poweradaptor

    There are a couple things missing

    I will reserch / talk to several Product managers at the worlds larges construction show in Munich

     

    also in all Q1 2017 Europe brochures there is no 18V (20V max)  6,0Ah battery

     

    also the Flexvolt radio is not listed, I have confirmation and price for availability in Germany

     

    To the Hammer drills

    be aware one is SDS+ the other is SDS max ! (two different type chucks!)

    Poland is the first country in EU to release the Q1 / 2017 ebrochure

    I check twice on daily basis and will continue to report

    Well, Flexvolt Garden tools will also "hit Europe"

    Does anyone already know with what tool(s) this battery (20V max 6,0Ah)  will be bundled with as a kit ?

    hence, we would also then know the abbreviation of battery (type)

     

    e.g.

    M2 was 2x 4,0Ah

    P2 was 2x 5,0Ah

     

    Reminder: one of worlds largest building fairs/trade show in Munich Germany as of Jan16th 2017

    Dewalt (as all other major tools companies) have a big booth

    I know some product managers there, maybe some "disclosed secrects"  to be heard of;

     

    For sure the new flexvolt sds hammer will be shown !
