But when you use the new battery on your 20v tool, won't it then be a 9ah capacity?

Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

part of the launch but already out in the 20v line

    dcd996

the package with dcf887 also has a 60v batt included

(( as per above: I hope they still release some new 20V tools. ))

    cheers

I don't think anyone is suggesting Dewalt have created an infinite energy loop. Guys are just trying to figure out what it means to have 4 batteries as a power source.

To all, there is no doubt that this will either be charged from a powerpoint or contain a generator. The big question is whether t will have its own inbuilt batteries AND be able to somehow use 4 batteries when it's empty(?) or whether the 4 batteries are the primary power source.

    guys, don´t get lost

this is just a 4 port charging unit !!!!

  3. guys

"let´s get back to the roots" If you want to discuss / comment on saws etc. start a new forum !

I would like to see comments / discussion on the the wordsfirst event

of course leaks and rumors !

    highly appreciated

can´t share a lot of info yet

here is something for you guys to "work on"

560 VIP customers attended on Dewalts invite in Barcelona

    take this:

    • compatible
    • MORE than ONE item

  4. let me help you guys out a little bit with "personal thoughts" and speculation

there might be a major influence from Europe

now if it was cordless it would be ah and volts

so do away with the 20v max thing, temporarilly

also keep in mind there is soon a major dewalt event in BARCELONA (VIP) Europe !

I want to be careful with my wording !!!!

if it is a cordless "thing" look at 3x 18V = 54V (this also is a bit inline with rumors USA 20V max x 3 = 60 and my math says that is 120V

as many of you write here)

also important for me would be "compatible"

wow, just think 54V switchable to 3x 18V

also I would initially also launch more than one tool !!!!!!!!!!!!

    ... wait and see!

    cheers

  5. I have done some research and pulled a couple of strings

awesome , don´t want to spoil it !

    a few hints

    a) Barcelona

    B) don´t just have your mind set to only one tool !

no, it is not the already posted tools ((NO=  I'm wondering if it's those new 20v specialty tools that tool guyd had pointed out a couple of months ago )

    cheers

I know people want to see some brushless saws from Dewalt, but I'm trying to think what tools haven't been moved over from the old 18v line. The finish nailer was the last one I thought.

    not moved over yet:

    • track saw
    • adheisive gun
    • joiner (although this only had the oval form) DW932
    • led incl. power outlet DC022 / somewhat replaced with DCL061
    •

    cheers
