  1. i heard it will also do things such as telling you the battery level of all your batteries in your truck or van so you know before you even get to the job so you know also something about about giving you an hour meter so you know how often you have used each battery and tool. and maybe something about date codes and registering in the event of you tools being stolen
  2. I think the 12 Volt line is nice but some of the 12 Volt tools other companies have come out with don't really seem practical for what I do. Like a 12 Volt SDS Hammer drill I would be going through more batteries than it worth. I think dewalt should make a few 12 Volt tools that other companies don't have such as a 12 Volt engraver i would use that all the time I have a lot of tools that i need to get my name on.
  3. Thanks I have posed before just not a lot always seem to be so busy i been wanting to get a picture of all my dewalt tools but have yet to find time.
  4. Dewalt tools alone last year were over $5000 not to mention all the other tools i buy that aren't dewalt sure hope they come out with some good stuff this year i am ready to buy. Only things i have bought this year so far is LED spot light, heated coat, and the right angle stud drill
  5. I ordered two sets the other day when they come in i can check out the quality but with all the dewalt had tools i have i couldn't put them in any other tool box lol
  6. Its a pretty decent set but went to use it on a square head bolt the other day and it don't come with any 8pt sockets like my old craftmens did
  7. I always like in engrave my name and stuff on my new tools would be nice if had a cordless one using the 8v platform and about the size of the gyro screw driver
  8. I was just wondering if anyone on here has one of these and how the like it. Also I do some under ground conduit every now and then and wondered if this would get hot enough to heat the pvc up and then to bend it.
  9. great tool with lots of power but how long til a cordless one
  10. whats the date on top of the battery you bought on ebay i think around 2010 they changed the way the XRP looked i have some i bought at lowes that look like that
  11. I got my radio last Thursday i think its pretty nice a lot more presets and you can change the bass and treble. Its a big improvement over my last radio 2 versions ago.
  12. If the blocks aren't really hard and you only need to make a few cuts, I would use a circular saw with a diamond blade i have done it before it works decent or you could get a diamond blade for a grinder and make one pass and flip it over and make another pass.
  13. depends on what tools you are planning on using alot if you are gonna use the circular saw or grinder alot then get the bigger batteries if you plan on just drilling holes and putting in screws go with the smaller batteries. I like the smaller batteries best for the impact because you can put screws in all day and it makes the impact really light weight
  14. try CPO I just bought Hammer drill and 4 position Sawzall from them and got a free 3/8 impact not sure if it still going on but i would check it was a good deal
  15. you can try ravpower, it's really good deal the title says he is looking for a new 20v max kit not a replacement battery for mikita
  16. i would have it checked out i have the same compressor and have ran 3 roofing guns all day with no problem at all. I use it with framing guns to and never any problems
  17. was it a air or hand cap stapler and did it shoot caps or just staples like a hammer tacker search DWHTHT450
  18. At least when dewalt brings a product out its great from the begining and the don't have recalls. Getting a quality tool from the start is important to me
  19. Just wondering why dewalt don't make wire stripers to go with there wire crimps, side cuts, and linesmans pliers. I would love to have a complete set of dewalt electrical tools. Also some cable cutters, precision screw drivers where the top of the handle spins to make it easier to tighten screws, and maybe romex wire stripers. It sure would be nice to see dewalt compete with milwaulkees hand tools
  20. Depending on what type of work you do the 12v tools are really nice and light weight, they have plenty of power. I have the pivoting 12v saw and it is nice for tight places. Also the 12v batteries would use the same charger as your 20v tools.
  21. It looks really good i have always liked the hard cases, but you got the wrong color blade in your circular saw
  22. I would be nice if you made the 12v cigarette lighter/USB charging station for charging cell phones, ipods, and Mp3s. Milwaukee has had one out for while and i have seen a few more come out to.
  23. They also changed the batteries in the 12v kit to 1.5amp compared to 1.2 amp that it was when it first came out
  24. Thats sweet i can't wait to use it
  25. I seen that dewalt has a pretty sweet looking app out now but its only on apple app store. Any one hear if there will be one coming to the android app market/google play?
