  1. i buy a bunch of plywood sheets and for the upcoming drywall project it gonna be a release to lift the 4.5' x 12.5' x 5/8 sheets on the drywall lift
  2. i have the 6.5 peak hp 14gal ridgid shop since 1 year and its just awesome. i looked at that special buy too at homedepot but i really didnt need an extra one - maybe when the deal gonna come up again i might buy one. great review javier
  3. rotozip is really cool - i bought one couple weeks ago. tried it out on some drywalls and i gonna start soon with some serious cutting when i drywall my garage
  4. everyone starts with his first tool and then it gets more - specially when you are a TIA member haha
  5. never really heard anything about upside down cutting with a jigsaw. youtube just shows me when they mount a jigsaw under the table. ill have to give it a try next time i use my jigsaw
  6. she might help you to buy it
  7. then i can def understand that the dust extraction is the best
  8. its smooth and accurate man - you talk about bosch you dont need LED at a router, thats not really important. clear base? if you prefer one, make your own one out of plexi glass
  9. which one you guys gonna buy, there are 3 different models Choose from 3 models to accommodate these panel thickness ranges:- Gorilla Gripper ‘GP’ .. 0 to 3/4” (0 to 21mm) - Gorilla Gripper ‘Contractor’ .. 3/8” to 1-1/8” (9 to 29mm) - Gorilla ‘Door’ Gripper .. 1-1/4” to 2” (31 to 52mm)
  10. i have connections to germany i wanna know the price for that tool
  11. i looked at that vid too long time ago - its a really nice saw
  12. so just because of the track saw/kit the dust extraction is better than when you use a straight edge? i have pretty darn good dust extraction with my circular saw + dust chute and shop vac. its quick to set up too or are you talking about the plunge track saw ??!!??
  13. Sam you are right, i tried it too but naaaa it doesnt sound cheap haha
  14. so those are multi blades (all purpose) ?
  15. as soon as they are up - give us a picture
  16. BK it just depends on what you wanna do with the sander 1/4 sheet; 1/2 sheet; full sheet or 5" ROS; 6" ROS i went with the 5" disc ROS sander from Bosch (ROS20VSK) and its a nice little sander but i future i might gonna upgrade to the 1/2 sheet sander from bosch. have a few table, bench and outdoor furniture projects coming up ( as soon as my garage is remodeled haha )
  17. sanding with a multitool - mhhh ya ok its doable for certain applications, small areas etc. but with a ROS its way quicker and they perfrom well. the sanding pads are not expensive either. i own the ROS20VSK (k is for hardcase and VSC = c stands for carrying bag) and i have nothing bad to tell you about. works great with the dust canister as well as with a shop vac - i might wanna lower the suction on the shop vac variable speed is awesome too. but i might gonna upgrade my sander to the ROS65VC (3.3amp, 5" and 6" pads, you can switch them, and vibration control. or i go straight to the OS50VC the 1/2 sheet sander which i eyeballed for a long time. thats a beast!! but again, with the ROS20 you cant go wrong - i have it, i use it a lot and its awesome. and welcome to the forum buddy
  18. i never owned the Bosch Colt - i went straight up with the model and bought the 1617EVSKP because i needed the plunge version and a bit more HP. Since you are a Bosch Nut like you said, give it a try for the Colt. cant really say anything to the dewalt router - just that is has 1/4 more hp
  19. hey analog_gamer, i owned the JS365 for about 1 month and ended up sending it back. i really dont like top handle jigsaws. my wrist is really sensitive when it comes to vibration or a comfortable grip. after using the JS365 for couple projects i had to wear a wrist-band for a long time. you have way more control of a barrel grip when you do curved cuts. i bought the JS572EB (or better to say JS572EBL with the L-Boxx) and i love it. I went with the higher class jigsaw because of the precision control, that i dont have to sand so much. --> Is it justifiable as my first Jigsaw for the difference in price? <-- you pay what you get for - dont go cheap. i think you cant go wrong with the JS470EB - its a great jigsaw
  20. madman_us

    New jig saw

depends on what you prefer in your hand. i think its more comfortable when you have a barrel grip jigsaw. thats how i feel
  21. great that everyone likes it i ordered one already
  22. this time its the gorilla gripper - what you guys think about this one (maybe some already heard about it) i wished i had that one couple weeks ago when i moved my drywalls. but i still might gonna buy one haha. cost about $39 + s/h at amazon for $47 with free s/h http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Gripper-44010-Panel-Carrier/dp/B0007TYCA8 here the product vid for the TIA Crew and here the normal one:
