Panasonic already uses the Dual Voltage name for their 14.4/18v compatible tools.
-
You need to register within 4 weeks of purchase to extend warranty to 6 years from the standard 2 years (1 year commercial or professional use). More details can be found here https://webapp.bosch.de/warranty/locale.do?localeCode=en_AU

He's talking about cellulose acetate.

That is the motor rpm not the head rpm. The trimmer attachment model EM400MP has a gear ratio of 14:19 so the head rpm is about 7150 rpm.

I think the Multivolt (36v) Hitachi version will still beat it.
-
Nope, they promoted that feature.
-
That has been mentioned in promotion but you are close the the specific detail.
-
Name something unique (not used by other Brands or used in other Bosch battery packs) about the construction of Bosch Eneracer/Procore battery packs not mentioned in its promotion.

Is the trigger variable on the Makita. I guess the tool Dwain is thinking about is the Bosch brushless orbital reciprocating saw.
-
They're re-branded Mac Tools. Sidchrome, Facom and Mac Tools are all owned by Stanley Black & Decker just like Dewalt and use its battery platform.
-
Metabo also has several angle adapters. Aeg has 12V and 18V drills with quick change chucks including right angle and offset (in Europe at least).
-
You don't really but some tools with the black star battery terminal aren't actually high drain tools.
-
To be fair its the older 1.3ah BL1815 with no star protection that doesn't fit on high drain tools but the newer 1.5ah BL15n does fit.

What batteries were they. All my 2.0s and 4.0s with fuel gauges (from 2016) have Sony cells. Two non gauge 5.0s from 2014 have the blue Samsung 25r cells. A non gauge 5.0 from 2015 has Sony cells. A 1.5 from 2015 and 1 from 2016 both have Samsung 15m cells. I have seen Sony cells in the 6.0s. I don't know about newer manufactured packs though. One thing I have noticed is that my batteries with Samsung cells have a QR code next date code and serial number and the ones with Sony cells don't have a QR code and the date code and serial number are look ingraved instead of being printed.

Makita uses mostly Sony cells and some Samsung cells.
