  1. Gawd. Im an idiot. Lol. was afraid I'd jam it if I did that. Thanks.
You had a problem, you asked for help and got answered. No one's a idiot here, that's what a big part of this forum is for

  2. Awesome find. Thanks.. looks like a Milwaukee with handles....but glad to have another choice...I'm waiting for the M12 rocket...
You're welcome! I Hope they will come out with a model like the Bosch GLI18V-1900 or the Ryobi P720 later on too, then I would be satisfied with the work light arsenal. Don't you prefer the Dewalt DCL079 over the M12 rocket (I know your blood runs yellow)?

  3. Copied from official SBD document:

    Operational Description of the DCL074

The DCL074 area light is a battery-powered work light with multiple mounting options. Besides floor or
tabletop use, the light can be hung from the built-in hook or the hanging insert for a separate cord or it
can be mounted on a tripod. The light can be controlled via the keypad or Bluetooth wireless control
using the DeWalt Tool Connect app on a device. The radio is Bluetooth 4.0 and it is BLE only.

Sounds like it has built in radio...

    Great idea. I'll do this.

    Are they hard to remove?
That's what I did too. As far as I can remember it wasn't that hard, but the clip needed some small bends and kinks to fit the multitool if I remember correctly or else the battery would not slide into place.

Not really. I haven't actually checked with Dewalt. I've just been told by someone I know. They might be wrong (hopefully so).

Good to hear it's OK in Finland.
I have registered all my tools with no problems and I've had a green laser repaired and a flexvolt battery replaced under warranty so i'ts worth checking up. Hope it works for you too

  6. Prices are definitely high here. I often order power tools from the USA and sometimes they're still significantly cheaper, even with shipping and currency conversion. No warranty however.

Check out prices of Ryobi in Australia (Bunnings) VS Ryobi in USA.
Are you sure about the warranty? I live in Finland and order most of my Dewalt from UK and warranty still works. But then again we are both part of Europe so that's maybe a mattering factor.

  7. Pretend I am a 3 year old.

I have the current brushless variable speed and I love it.
I don't understand the hate towards the load sense feature.

Why is a barrel grip so important?
(be kind, i am an electrician, not a carpenter!)

Current brushless? What have I missed?

  8. Not until beginning of 2019. That's the word on the streets from what I heard.

I'll hold on to next year then

  9. Belgium is getting new deWalt jigsaws in September. Both body grip and d handle.

We're going to be a dewalt dealer most likely pretty soon
Finally. Any more info/pics on those?

  10. I was wondering if anyone has made an adapter for their 20v Vaccume to fit into their 60v table saw and 20v miter saw?
Well I use the DWV9140 adapter on my table saw. I also made an adapter to get the option to hook up the dust port from the blade guard, watch it on Instgram:

Looks kinda silly but it's only a prototype. The final version will look better

  11. Dewalt just released 3 new Dust Extractor, rather must say 3x Shop Vac; wet -n- dry
    no "technology"
    all CORDED
    no cordless option
    no bluetooth option

    it is what it is

anyway, the release was a surprise
Yeah I saw that but as stated in the post, they looks more like a high end homeowner/diy line of extractors. There is certainly a demand for those too but not for a guy like me

  12. I wonder if they should redesign the framing nailer based on a 60v max motor and make everything more sturdy. When the tool works as it's supposed to do it's a great gun imo so a little redesign would be in place
