  1. If you find it available you guys should check out the Mirka deros random orb. They are made here in Finland and one of the best out there. Some say they are even better than the Festool. Mirka is one of the leaders on sanding materials here in EU so they know their stuff.

  2. I came across this one key adapter that seems to go between the battery and the tool. This is just my own speculations. It's actually not that interesting to me because I don't really care about one key at all. Just wanted you guys that care to know about it. Will be due in stores in april 2016 according to this site.

  3. Well I guess it doesn't have any more torque than the 3/8 so I can live with this.

Well slightly more, 160Nm for the 1/2" vs 158Nm for the 3/8" but I guess you don't notice it in real world work.

  5. Believe it when I see it. And then when I'm done believing it you better be believing that my wallet will be empty.

If true the 6.0 battery brings the m12 line up on a other level.

I know, seems strange to showcase it now since the M18 6.0 and 9.0 were shown long ago and not this one. But yeah, would really be a game changer. I could really need the extra juice for my fuel rotary hammer drill so I'm hoping for it to be legit.

  6. Here is my M12 list so far:

1: Fuel sds rotary hammer drill

2: Fuel 1/2" impact wrench (eu only at the moment)

    3: Led lantern/flood light

    4: Polisher/sander (haven't used much yet)

5: Fuel circular saw (absolutely bottom pick, haven't found any real good use to it yet. It seems to struggle in any material, even 12mm plywood)

  7. The springs inside the tool have to be replaced every 30K - 50K shots. It's easy to do in the field. See this video:

Yeah we did that when I saw that the replacement springs in stores. The old springs were totally beaten up but it did not do any good to the nailer, still acting up.

  8. So I have used the saw and impact a bit now and can tell you that I'm really pleased with them. You need to know the limits of the saw of course. Don't think it can chew through anything you stick it in. But for minor cuts it does a great job for sure.

The impact wrench was put to test with some lag bolts. 60mm long went in to the wood like a charm, 100mm went in to the wood faster than I expected, 200mm I did not even think would be possible but it sank the bolt all the way into the wood. Sure it took a while and I don't really recommend anyone to drive 200mm all day but the fact that it was able to chocked me. So the impact was a gold in my book.

Unfortunately I haven't had any concrete drilling to be done so I cannot tell you much about the sds hammer drill yet. Will come back after some usage.

  9. So the DCD790 finally arrived. Took a month from the date I ordered. Will be ordering fron UK from now on. Anyway, I can confirm that the tstak it came in is identical to the one my DCD990 came in. So it will for sure be a tight fit to get my impact in the same box. That will also recuire some cutting in the hard molding to get it in there. I would rather use one of my new empty tstaks with foam inserts and cut it to fit both my drill and impact. But then the other tstak is rather useless. I could try to sell it on ebay.

  10. Oh I meant to ask, Do they charge more for the bare tool w/tstak? I forgot to mention, A salesrep at acmetools mentioned that all Bosch bare tools come with a LBoxx ,is that the case in EU as well?

When I asked the seller for price on both bare tool only and w/tstak he couldn't give any price on the bare tool only, said that it's no longer available here. So I guess the tstak replaces the one without since then. The Bosch I'm not sure about, I guess you can get it either w/Lboxx or just w/insert for Lboxx. But I could be wrong, don't own any bosch power tools yet.
