What's new in the tstak division?a couple concrete tools, some ope, some Tough System/tstak stuff, and those shop benches are what I can think of.

Nice addition. I think I'll wait for a Tstak model like we saw with the radios

Great! That's what I thought too. Thanks for the help TravisYes, it fits with the battery off. Lots of space.

So I will try to sell my Ryobi airstrike 18g brad and replace it with the DCN680. Here in EU it comes in a tstak VI but I wonder if anyone can confirm if it fits in a tstak II? I can fit my airstrike, 2 batteries (one on the tool), a charger and 3 boxes of nails in a tstak II so I hope the DCN680 isn't that much larger

Here are some cordless tools using Dewalt batteries, but as far as I can tell there is "Dewalt based tools". The ratchets would be nice to try out.

Don't really know if this one is new but if anyone is interested here is a Stanley rivet gun powered by Dewalt.

Don't know anything. Only that they have seen my poorly made designs for them and keeping my hopes up that we will get a updated jigsaw with barrel gripupcoming jigsaw ?
when
unofficial release date
barrel grip ?
cheers

Since the new drain snake is brushless I'd be very surprised if the upcoming jigsaw is brushed
I think very few people run a jigsaw more than an hour a day - the kind of usage that would benefit from brushless.
While a reciprocating saw drains batteries with a quickness, a jigsaw will run a long time.

Well the mini planer seems a bit underpowered to me. But so does the 12v jigsaw too. I guess they're only meant for smaller tasks thou.

Holy shit man. I'm so sorry this happend to you. Here in Finland we have insurance that covers theft from a locked work van. I have never had any tools stolen but that shit happens to people who don't deserve it and trying to make a livelihood with those tools. Hope things work out for you.

No - like a 20v angle grinder but the disc was orientated vertically to the handle.. sorta like if you'd rotated the grinder to cut sheet stock, but the handle and trigger were rotated so your hand sat straight instaed of on the side

If I'm understanding you correctly you can do this with just about any grinder, remove the 4 bolts on the head, rotate 90 degrees and reinsert bolts.
Oh now I see. I think that you can do that with most grinders out thereCheers feel like a dummy now, as I did sorta know that lol. Obvious but forgotten, just excited for some more new tools . Now I've got the flexvolt grinder might do that to my old 20v for cutting down sheet metal.

What's that? The die grinder?I cant find the photo now (should have saved it) but spotted what looked like a picture of a 20v grinder with a vertical disc? Anyone else see that?

Runtime: 9.5h on 5ah and 20h on 6.0ah. Wait what? Some more info on the 20v heater... saw it sitting on the shelf in the TIA live stream, but could have missed it if I blinked. Quick google search threw this up

Well I did not see alot of tools I really relly need, except the mid torque wrench but I think we all can agree about FV being a big hit and kept alive since Dewalt keep releasing new tools now and then. They are surely aiming to take over the corded market completely. The tripod light shows that they may be looking over their cordless work lights with hopefully more lights to come.

I was really stoked to see the new cordless dust extractors too but I guess they were not ready yet. Hope we will see them later this year then.

There are actually 3 different models of the grinders, at least here in EU. DCG406 DCG405 and DCG405FHit also appears to be 2 different angle grinders. If you notice the gear housing the one in the middle has black on the top where the one in the back is all silver.

I watched a demo video of the new brushless grinders from Dewalt but my eye caught something in the background that looks like a cordless die grinder. I don't use die grinders and don't know if Dewalt has one already but I haven't seen one. What do you think?
