  1. It's called M12 CIW12 here in eu. We have different model numbers than US
  2. Except whores get better payed than me since all my money goes straight to the tool devil.
  3. Hate it when that happens. But at the same time love it, love it so friggin much
  4. I see. Well even if I hear tough cases are heavy duty as hell and almost indestructable I like my tstaks because of the more compact size and the fact that they are rugged enough for my needs. Plus they cost less. I ordered the DCD790 bare tool and it comes with a tstak II so I'm excited to see what the inside reveals. Will I find room for my impact and perhaps some batteries and a charger too.
  5. Nice find William. Could it be that someone who bought a kit with drill and impact don't need the tough case it came with and sells it on ebay. I know they sell those kits here in eu at least.
  6. Haha, thanks protoolnut. Don't get too excited now, I'm still a huge Dewalt fan, I just accept that no power tool manufacturer make all the tools I need so I need to blend some other colors in the mix.
  7. Well, that thought usually don't last too long for me, once I get used to a tool I don't mind it anymore if it get some dirt and bumps. It will get them eventually anyway
  8. Don't know if that milwaukee black case get along with my other tstaks yet
  9. Thanks DR! The circular saw felt like a great buy for me at the moment until Dewalt comes out with a updated model of their 20v saw. I'm sure I will still have great use of the m12 saw even after buying a larger one.
  10. Sorry but I don't think the 1/2" model is available in US. I haven't had the pleasure to use any of these tools yet but next week I will try them out. Will give you my thoughts on the sds after I've used it some. But I can tell you already that it's very light and compact and feels sturdy so my hopes are high.
  11. Thanks madman. I will probably get some Bosch 12v too. Been looking at the brushless drill, looks like a compact little guy. And the jig saw has a big welcome to my arsenal. If Dewalt don't update their 20v jigsaw to a barrel grip model or milwaukee come out with a new and more compact m12 fuel jig saw i will probably add in some Bosch
  12. Yes the dust chute sure is a nice feature. Sad thing about the box is that I will probably not use it. I have built a shelf in my van with Dewalt tstak integration. So all of these babies will go straight into tstaks as soon as I get them home. Will post some pictures of the van build when everything is complete.
  13. So I'm currently on the Dewalt 20v max line and felt like filling in some tools that I did not want from the Dewalt 20v line and here is why: Fuel circular saw; I wanted a compact saw for smaller cuts and waiting for Dewalt to release a bigger blade size brushless saw for heavier jobs. The m12 will do for the time being until then Fuel rotary hammer drill; I don't drill often in concrete and when I do it's usually smaller holes so the M12 felt perfect for that. If I find myself in need for a bigger one I will get another Dewalt 20v max Fuel 1/2" impact wrench; I simply could not leave that poor guy alone in the store so I let it along for the ride.
  14. Oh and for me gas is a problem. In the winter I always have to keep them warm to get the job done.
  15. Well, you still have to pay for the gas even if it comes with the nails. If I use a non-gas nailer I don't go buy a paslode box with nails (and gas). For me the job gets done almost twice as fast with a cordless nailer compared to a pneumatic so for me it's a no brainer. I'm not saying that's the case for everyone. Just trying to explain my situation and frustration with the DCN690.
  16. Sad to hear you had such a bad experience with the Dewalt gun. I loved the one I used as long as it worked fine. Sure, it may be a bit bigger and bulkier than a Paslode an certainly a air nailer, but the convenience not to worry about hoses or gas makes me pick it over the other two any day. Until it sadly gives up after a year. Sh*t
  17. Imo the hammer function on the m12 fuel drill is as worthless as any hammer function. I tried one drilling 5mm holes 20-30mm deep in concrete but finally gave up an plugged in the corded rotary hammer. I bought the m12 fuel rotary hammer the other day and will try that one next week. I would suggest that one if light masonry drilling is your goal
  18. So I need to ask you guys if anyone else out in the world has any problems with the DCN690/DCN692? Here in Finland almost every gun seems to fail after about one year of intensive usage. I spoke to a local repair guy and he told me since there has been so many units returned for warranty service, almost every one they sold in the country seems to have problems. Does our units come from another factory and equipped with cheaper components than others or what could be the explanation?
  19. Seems like some kind of Milwaukee's Narnia movie to me
