  1. Haha, That's pretty awesome that you guy's hooked up BigMikeZ with a battery and charger. Just goes to show how awesome the community is here. Like a lot of people, I got hooked into the DeWalt 20V Brushless line a long time ago. I love DeWalt, the tools have never failed me, but there hasn't been much innovation for a while. I started looking into purchasing some hand tools, and noticed that Milwaukee has got some great stuff. Then I looked into their power tools and the 7-1/2" cordless circular saw blew me away. The Milwaukee Fuel line of tools will allow people to "cut the cord" without sacrificing power. Pretty awesome stuff. I'm still a heavy corded power tool user though, the cord doesn't bother me too much. But as far as cordless tools and hand tools go, I think I'm gonna go to the darkside and join Big Red. For corded jobsite tools, I still love DeWalt. And for all the other stuff, I'll stay with Bosch until I can afford Festool, lol.
  2. I currently do not own any Milwaukee tools but after doing a ton of research, I think it's time for me to hop on board. I think the FUEL line of tools have really grabbed at me. The amount of innovation they put into all of their tools are outstanding, constantly pushing the envelope. As I buy more and more Milwaukee tools, I'll post them here and give some thoughts. I'm interested to hear what you all think of Milwaukee Tools. Have any of you made the shift or simply added these to your arsenal?
  3. Hey Regopit! I'm on Oahu. And by the way, Congrats on winning the Ultimate Tool Bag a while ago. I apologize if that was not you
  4. Here's a link to a YouTube Video of the competition. Maybe I'll practice some and enter next year wearing a TIA shirt or hat, lol. https://youtu.be/cWdrbtQoXAQ
  5. I don't think I'm gonna go this year. Hard to justify all my tool purchases with the wife, lol. To her it's just more of the same crap. Thing is, I never give her shit about all the shoes she has haha. But nothing is standing out to me in the ad this year anyway. I bought my Bosch 4100 Table Saw about 5 years back for $350 with the gravity rise stand. I think that was a steal.
  6. Moze I watched a couple of your YouTube videos. I instantly took notice of the squeegee's you had in your ToughBox video. I gather that you work for a sign company?. I've been working for a sign company as well for the past 16 years. Cool seeing another sign guy. Take Care
  7. Every year Slim's Power Tools ( a local tool shop here in Hawaii ) put's on a competition. The winner gets a $2000 shopping spree. They also have some decent deals. If your in Hawaii and plan on going, I suggest getting there at 5 a.m. to get the door buster deals. I attached a PDF for more info
  8. Here's a pic with the Labels In Action:
  9. Haha Nordraw....That's true. Tool's are so expensive here, luckily Amazon still ships free. I've also had some luck with price matching Amazon prices with my local Home Depot to get better deals.
  10. Sweet! My two entries are in. Good luck to everyone! Hope someone from the TIA crew wins
  11. Great stuff Moze. I actually happened upon your DeWalt TStak video after doing some research for myself. I really the setup you got there. I just purchased a bunch of TStaks and made up some labels for them. I'll see if I can attach a PDF so you can print out the labels if you want. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BydWhT4cI1qWR0NNeXFyTTQ3RTA/view?usp=sharing
  12. Wow! Thank you all for the warm welcome and sage advice about guarding my wallet lol. Here's a tip I got from the guy's over at the FineWoodWorking Podcast "Send your tools to your workplace, your wife never needs to know" Haha. Again, thank you all. Take Care
  13. Hope everyone is having a great day. I love tools, can't afford them all though lol. Hopefully I'll get some good insight from you all and maybe even contribute some. Thank you in advance for all the advice that I'm sure to get. Aloha!
