I love my Bosch tools but recently purchased the makita brushless hammer drill and impact combo. Bosch's lack of bringing things to market basically made me supplement with makita for tools not offered by Bosch. Picked up a few things the last week. Snapon led light, Bosch multi tool (corded), 4 12" clamps, sharpening stone for my chisels, and a large empire rafter square. Different sites like homedepot.com, toolbarn,toolnut, etc are offering $20 off a $100 purchase on selct woodworking tools. I picked up the makita compact router kit with plunge base for $121 after taxes from HD. I might get their bigger router with both bases next month before the promo ends. Thanks. I bought the wera hex shafts on black Friday and like them. Didn't know if I needed another set just like them or not. For $10 more I could get two of the cheaper Felo sets to keep in mine and the wife's vehicle. Case doesn't need to be super tough, just to keep from losing anything and knowing if something is gone. registering your tools helps as well. sure people can record a serial number but the manufacturer will have it dated as well.

record all your serial numbers. people can have the same initials so it is added security. also helps with stolen an pawned tools. pawn stores give records to police weekly with serial numbers of things pawned weekly.

agreed with what was said earlier. I visit all 3, lowes, hd, menards for different reasons. Some stores offer better selections than others on certain things. I visit the one that fits my needs better during that time. Also whenever Menards runs a 11% rebate, HD will match it with a mail in rebate of their own. So if HD has something you want from lets say Dewalt or milwaukee that Menards doesnt sell (they dont sell those brands) you can get money back for store credit which is nice.

it is Menards tool brand. lots of tools made in USA with a great warranty. Think Ryobi for home depot, kobalt for lowes. I have played around with it a few times and it is really nice.
