  1. it looks semi close to the ridgid. the pc has an outfeed extension like the kobalt which i like. does anyone know if Lowes does the 11% rebate match for Menards?
  2. Anybody have this saw? I purchased the kobalt saw last month but haven't opened it yet as it has been to cold to work in the garage. I went to Lowes and noticed how much bigger it was than the kobalt surface area wise and thought it would be nice to have. http://www.portercable.com/products/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=31462 Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. Feel is another important thing. I wasn't the biggest fan of Milwaukee but the Bosch felt great. Much easier to work with tools when they are comfortable. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. Any company will work for you. I prefer Bosch bust just purchased a makita hammer drill/ impact for a stupid good price. See what is most available in your area for immediate purchases. Also look at the line up to see what tools (with good reviews) you will most likely purchase. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. Had my first "negative" experience the other day. I found a Bosch hammer drill on display. There was no spot on the shelf. I had the tool person who is in charge of it but not a store manager look as well. She could not find a spot either. She looked it up and found it discontinued from the store. Could buy it online with 2 batteries and a charger and case for $250. She said if she found the other parts she could 10% off, if not have to call a manager for a price. I said go ahead, even though j wasn't going to buy the kit. Well she couldn't find them and called a manager. He told her couldn't go more than 20% off. WTF? Are you serious? Home depot sells the same product new bare tool for $125. Their price would have been $200! I laughed and told her no thanks and I could get it much cheaper elsewhere. 6. Will do. Thank you for all the help so far!Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. But that same horizontal spot wouldn't matter if I capped it off?Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. I feel like this is on a need to know basis. LolHonestly I'm not sure. The only time I have needed to deal with a permit for anything was my deck. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  9. Ok thanks. From looking online I am wondering if I could cut and cap the left y, run the main drain from the middle, keep the right y and put a vent on top, and then run the dishwasher to the disposer. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. That sounds good too. Would probably give me more room though id I cut it though? Also with a single basin and drain, do I need to have a vent?Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. I've watched vids and made a mental note to do that. LolSent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. That sounds pretty simple. Thanks. I haven't filled it because I just bought a new faucet [emoji12] . jk we have never used it. I plan to actually use the new one as the new sink is 4 hole as well. I got a Kohler faucet for 150 off and a Kohler sink for 250. We want to redo our kitchen but won't be u til at least next year. Our faucet is terrible now and feel like this is something we can do to make a big difference for pretty cheap and could still use in the future if we wanted. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. Hey guys I am in need of some help. I currently have a 2 basin sink. I am replacing it with a single basin stainless sink. I want to keep my disposer. I have a dishwasher as well. Here is what it currently looks like. What is the best way to route for the new sink? The basin is the same distance so the height of the disposer shouldn't change. The new sink will also have the drain in the center. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. 3.0 and they are now a low price of $89. So $10 more than the sale price. I picked up a pair but might take them back if I plan to keep the makita brushless set. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. You don't actually have a tool chest do you? I have the Milwaukee box and have it almost filled with tools. Mechanics have a lot more tools that get used daily than you think. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I already have a Bosch circular saw. I was looking for a hammer drill from Bosch as that is what I am invested in with impact, drill, circ saw, jig saw. This ends up being close in price with all the extras and allows me to supplement in tools that Bosch is lacking in. Been thinking some of the outdoor tools. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I believe the drill has the fuel gauge on the drill. The impact that don't think has one. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I picked this makita kit up today along with a ryobi $20 power screwdriver for $170 out the door! The kit was clearance to $279 and the ryobi triggered the $150 promo. The kit is normally $399. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  19. Bosch has that option. Bare tool, soft case, or lboxx [emoji16] Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. I have a decent amount of kobalt items, mechanics set, smaller mechanics set, plier set, crescent wrenches. Nothing has ever broken on me. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. If you make things for a living you can write off tool purchases. I write off anything I purchase throughout the year. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  22. I bought the kobalt table saw in December with the bf pricing. I have yet to set it up. It looks to be a direct copy of the delta table saw just in gray and not black. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. Id get the Bosch table saw  Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. You can do better for A LOT cheaper. I went there one or two years and it cost $300. I go to a tax person now and it is less than $80. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
