  2. 02/02/16 deal of the day Zyklop mini set $54 http://www.kctoolco.com/wera-bc-br-30-bit-ratchet-set-retail-pack-p/wr346293.htm
  3. for the people wanting the zyclop mini it is the deal of the day at a great price. http://www.kctoolco.com/wera-bc-br-30-bit-ratchet-set-retail-pack-p/wr346293.htm
  4. so far i love my laser tips on the weras. They have been holding up great with occasional use so far. I put in a kitchen sink last week and used a slotted driver for turning all of the clips to clamp the sink down. The screwdriver never slipped on 12 clamps. The chisel driver set does not have the laser tips. Im sure they will hold up great. The set I bought is great for general use if not using them as chisel drivers. These would be a great set for the price. http://www.kctoolco.com/wera-334-6-slotted-phillips-screwdriver-set-rack-p/wr105650.htmI dont believe they have the hex bolsters though. Not needed but nice to have just because. The wera's grip is very subjective. I do prefer the grip on my wiha's from a comfort standpoint but the odd shape of the wera's allow for great grip and torque. I havent tried any felos but have hear nothing but good things. Like I said before if I hadnt gotten my wera's I would have purchased that large felo set that kctoolco has on sale for today only.
  5. They all have a model like that. I went with wera for the laser etched tips.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. If I wouldn't have bought my Weras and Wiha's I'd be all over the Felo set. I looked hard at it last month. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. I've heard nothing but good things about the Bosch colt. I'm debating getting the larger Bosch with both bases for now the. Buying a palm router later. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. I had one issue with the sprayer. At some point I didn't tighten the connection between the gun and the hose. This caused the pressure to cut a line in the threads. This made it not seal properly and paint would spray out the connection between the gun and hose. I wasted over a day finally getting it figured out between Sherwin Williams, graco, and Menard's. Of course this happened on a Saturday with limited resources available. Sherwin Williams was great with replacement hoses after I bought the first replacement there. Menard's was also great in replacing the $100 handle for free (bought the whole sprayer there). I used the graco project painter plus. This unit is stand alone with the paint staying in the container on the ground. I wasn't about to paint my house having to refill a bottle all the time let alone lugging it on every swipe of paint. This painter also isn't a serviceable unit. If the motor goes out it is done. Smaller things like fittings can be replaced. Having different size tips is great. I ended up using a smaller size for the whole house rather than the larger it comes with. I would also suggest an extension for the gun. I bought a 15" extension and it was immensely helpful. Being able to spray larger areas without moving cut the lap marks down a lot. I modeled the process of painting after a series of YouTube videos called how to paint your house right. A ten part series I believe with each step well explained. Any other questions let me know and I'll be happy to answer them. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

The makita brushless hammer drill kit 257tb just dropped another $30 down to $249 at my store. Pair it with another tool for the $150 off promo. Killer deal. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. I ended up going to HD today. The promo brushless kit I just purchased last week dropped another $30 to $249. I returned the kit and the ryobi driver. I repurchased the makita kit and bought a makita compact sawzall with part of the price adjustment. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks everyone. Happy to say the paint is holding up well lol. [emoji16] Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. I heard this too. Be sure to get the HD rebate to match the Menard's rebate this week. Good way to get $80 back. The online rebate form shows for this week so it should still work. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. No power tools buy picked up 2 pipe clamps plus the pipes, some crescent torx bits, and a Stanley file kit from Menard's. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. are the compact recip saws worth it? what applications have you used them in? since buying the makita kit it has given me more options for tools that bosch doesnt have.
  15. HD still has a deal going on for a $150 off promo for certain combo kits with the purchase of another power/bare tool. Online price was different from in store price. Online the makita kit is $399, it was marked down to $279. I purchased a $30 ryobi screwdriver (cheapest power tool i could find but will most likely take it back or exchange it) for $179 out the door. It is their top of the line hammer kit with 5amp our batteries. A quote from another post of mine. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. been using it for a few years now. only way to search cl
  17. I got to use my knipex pliers for the first time since I bought them if that counts. Thanks everyone for the kind words and help to get this done. I really appreciate it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  18. I completely forgot to look. I remember cleaning out the gunk in the pipe and looking back but I didn't even think to look if it went up or not. Honestly I doubt I could have even could tell. If I feel the need to I could probably cut down the left pipe and put a vent upward if needed.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  19. Well I tackled the sink/faucet today. My friend came over to help out. Lifting and getting that cast iron sink out would not have been fun by myself. We ended up trying to do as little as possible to the existing pipework. Kinda the if broke don't fix it mentality. We capped off the left pipe, left the right pipe to the dishwasher alone, and in the middle we ran the pipe to the disposer. We ended up making a few trips to Ace but the last trip was more to brainstorm as we had to figure out the right route. Without the 45 degree bend we were about a pipe width short of connecting. I really wanted to have only one pipe but the amount of pipe left out of the wall wouldn't have allowed us to put a connector on it. Overall it went very well. NOTHING BROKE! I'm fine with trips to the store for more parts. I initially over bought for the few possible routes we could have done. I meant to take a before pic and completely forgot. I had to take a pic of the sink once it was out. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. we have had some cyc;es this winter, ill try and check tomorrow. every so often when i started i tried to cut a slit all the way down to leave room for expansion. im pretty sure i forgot to continue that half way through. thanks for the kind words. the paint has held up great so far. which i am ecstatic about.
