  1. I've got quite a bit of trees already which is nice. Fall kinda sucks but the deck is basically shaded throughout the day though. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. I'm fine with the asking. I wasnt sure if it came across correct that mine was still unopened. [emoji1] I'm very indecisive! I was at Lowes last week and the saw seemed small compared to the Porter cable. I know the kobalt has a 30" rip. I feel if I was going to cut something that big I would use a circular saw and guide to cut a board that big. The kobalt saw is built into the stand and am unsure if I like that or not. It seems to be a carbon copy of the delta saw which I feel bad that going for it though. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. Whose fault is that? The Chinese or the company who is having the Chinese make their product? There are plenty of quality products made in china. Ultimately it is up to the company, Milwaukee, Irwin, Bosch, whoever that has their product built to the way they see fit. There are plenty of products built in the USA that are pure garbage as well. To rule out a product just because it is made in china is silly (not saying that happened here but does). Some of the highest priced production pool cues are made in China. It comes down to how a company decides what is acceptable for their product. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. I highly doubt there will be any type of tree there. I spoke with my bro in law and suggested for him to start working on shrubbery for the landscape. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. First I haven't opened mine yet so it is still brand new in box. If you have a receipt you will get your money back that you paid for it usually 90 days from purchase. After that it'll most likely be store credit even with receipt. If you don't have a receipt it'll be the current price of the product and store credit. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. So I am thinking of returning the kobalt for either this craftsman, http://m.craftsman.com/craftsman-10inch-jobsite-table-saw/p-00914258000P Or this Porter cable http://m.lowes.com/pd/PORTER-CABLE-15-Amp-10-in-Table-Saw/50146380 Something that bugs me about the kobalt is that the saw looks to be built into the stand. Meaning modifying it if I were to make a larger base at some point for it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  8. Must be nice. Paid way more than that for mine. Recip saws never dropped in my area. Would love to have gotten one when they were like $39. Errrrr Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  10. I don't see the issue with where things are made. Each product is built to the manufacturers specs nothing more nothing less. If the product is sub par the and the company wanted a better built product they would design it and sub it out but they don't. If the quality is there what does it matter where it is made? 12. Anybody have one for their home saw? I recently bought a kobalt table saw but haven't opened it yet. I was wondering if the Bosch would be that much better or actually worse. I know the Bosch has a lesser right side rip capacity. The kobalt comes with the stand built in and has an outfeed support as well. Any help would be appreciated. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  17. was it just the ergos you liked better? i was looking pretty hard at the makita palm router when they had the $25 off purchase.
  18. non rotary. A larger regular hammer drill has much more power for bigger tasks like concrete or larger diameter holes. they are heavier and to me unnecessary for everyday tasks. Even building things like my outdoor furniture i used a non hammer drill. The compacts pack a good punch without the added weight and size to get into smaller areas. I just purchased a makita brushless hammer drill to use for bigger situations where the torque is needed.

  20. thanks. the goal this year is the actual landscaping. I was on it the year before and the yard looked great. I got side tracked obviously with other stuff and neglected the yard. I would love to put an apple tree at the end of the deck but the ones I would want need another tree for pollination but I dont have any room for that. I have two brother in laws who do landscaping so Ill have them design and pick out flowers/shrubs.
  21. it's a fine drill and impact. I had my brother buy that set last year from Ace. You will like it. A compact drill i believe is a must. It is MUCH easier to use/haul around to use than a hammer drill. Add a hammer drill later when it is needed.
  22. I like that a lot. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. It was like 3days ago at that lol. It was cheaper than Amazon. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. Looks like the compact kit. They had a promo for a free radio and battery for $180 I believe. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
