Shelves, Totes, Drawers, Peg board or Tool Boxes???
Dano123 replied to Dano123's topic in In The Shop
You are right, slow works better. Every other time I have cleaned my garage the back wall and the corners have been a place to pack stuff. This time I am trying to add organization, french cleats, shelves, etc as I clean so hopefully it stays organized longer. That is a Craftsman 6" jointer you see, part of the tools I inherited. My table saw, bandsaw and the jointer are all Craftsman. The drill press is a Champion and one of the 2 compressors he gave me is a Craftsman also. All old school tools that work, except the compressor feels seized up. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -

If you are an able bodied adult and you DON'T have a bat cave you have no excuse for an elevator in your house... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Fat guy in a little chair... haha This is the patio chair I made for them, I also plan to do a couple like that for the Lego table. They are sturdy, that's for sure! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Thanks guys. I used the pine 1x12s I had in the garage with a piece of 1/4" "hardwood" plywood from lowes for the top. I made the legs out of a pine 4x4. It was kind of a prototype but it worked great so I gave it to them for Christmas. My next project for it is an interchangeable top so he can put his trains on it too. I designed this Lego table and made it for my nephews for Christmas. It works great for them. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Back to the camera and general uploading question. Can I change my youtube channel name? If I wanted to make the videos public I would rather not have it under my name. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Thanks. It's coming along slowly but surely. I want to be able to park both cars back in there by the weekend... we shall see Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -
Does anyone make transition lense non RX safety glasses? My eyes are sensitive to light so I always have sunglasses on. I always buy the safety sunglasses at tractor supply so I am good outside, but I have to swap to clear usually when I come inside. I would spend some money on them if they made a decent set with transition lenses for sure. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Me too! I patched the drywall where the small leak was above the french cleats today, I have a full sheet to do in the corner above those compressors and then I plan to paint. I have been considering using a 3/4" sheet of OSB or plywood instead of drywall though so I could use hooks and hang more things from the ceiling better in that area. I really need a place for sheet goods scrap. Plus it is close to being nice enough to have a fire so I can get rid of a lot of the scrap pieces by the table and corn hole boards.

I can see my drill press and bandsaw again. I also got my 1x12s off the floor and the shelf is nearly empty and ready for a fresh start. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

The shelves split my garage bays and are in a spot where I can access them from either side. The video makes it look much worse than it really is too. I added on the shed portion (right side in the pic) of my kitchen at the end of last year and I haven't had a chance to move our party supplies and yard tools down there yet. I will post another video tonight if I get a chance. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

While cleaning things I have organized to the point where now I don't know what to put on my shelves either. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -
