  1. I am thinking about making a base for my table saw/router table and I want it on casters. For safety issues I think I need the swivel casters that brake and lock, but I can't find any cheap. Does anyone have any experience with these and have suggestions on where to find cheap models or an alternative to these? I was thinking some sort of jack or door stop system could hold it?
  2. This setup is working ok. The dust collection with the big hose and reducer doesn't really collect much. I need a smaller hose for the saw. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  3. The dust deputy is awesome! I have emptied 2 full buckets since I got it and my vac is pretty much empty. Well worth the money. My garage is coming along, I need to finish putting a few things back tonight and then organize all of my screws, nails, bolts, nuts, etc (I have way more than anyone needs...). I plan to fill the french cleat rows to the right of that window with those gallon jugs for different sized screws, bolts, washers, nuts etc then put all the nails and other rarely used items in the one of the drawers. I want to paint the ceiling tonight(wed) and tomorrow since it will be in the mid 60's. While I have my lights down to paint I figure now is a good time to rearrange them.
  4. These are the only pics I have that show the current arrangement of my lights. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  5. And rearrange them to even out the light... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  6. Well my organization phase is almost complete. Now I am painting the ceiling and trying to decide what to do with my shop lights. I currently have two single T12 fixtures, six double T12 fixtures and one double T8 fixture installed plus two double T12 fixtures to add. All 4'. For having sixteen 40W bulbs running I don't feel like I have very much light. Or at least it is very uneven. I have most of my lights on the main switch except the 2 fixtures over my bench and a second switch operates a fixture in my single bay that you can see in my Shop Walls thread. I don't really want to buy new fixtures, but my plan is to wire all the front lights on the main switch, all the back lights on the second switch and leave the 2 over my bench on the power strip. Any suggestions? How do you guys have your lights setup?
  7. I forgot you use Festool. I will take a look
  8. Capo D'Orlando is where my family over there currently lives.
  9. I see the same types of reviews at harbor freight all the time. Someone expecting a tool to do everything for them or not knowing how to use it to begin with. When I research a new product I only read the bad reviews to see what they are complaining about. The 5 star reviews are typically from people who know what the tool is for and what to expect it to do. The old sayings are correct, people expect perfection and don't appreciate it, but will complain to everyone about any little thing they don't like. I had a friend when I did snow removal complain to everyone I knew but me that I didn't "put the blade down all the way" when I did his driveway. What he didn't realize is there isn't any down pressure on a truck snow plow and once you drive over snow it packs to ice which the blade won't chip up no matter how many passes I made. I had several commercial accounts I had to do before I hit my residential accounts and he and his wife would leave for work before I got to his packing down his driveway. He ended up having a guy that worked for him to do his drive the following year and had the same problem, shocker...
  10. That is awesome Comp! My family is from a small town near Palermo, Sicily. The pictures my uncle showed us of his trip last year to see our family look very similar. I want to learn to speak Italian and make a trip over there in the next 5 years or so. Thanks for the share
  11. What did you use for the shelf pins? I have considered adding the Kreg shelf jig to my collection, but I don't know if it's really necessary. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  12. I converted my automotive tool cart into my miter saw/shop vac cart since I moved my automotive tools to the shelves and wall. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  13. Awesome saw and video! I want one of these some day, I just can't justify the price at the moment.

  15. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, you put a lot of time into writing that and I wanted to let you know. I figured it was a typo Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  16. Awesome post Chris. Very informative about buying and curing wood. Without sounding like the "math police" 16/4 would be 4" not 8"... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  17. The mpg's are nice though! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  18. For sure. I just use my car to haul stuff and I don't think I could do a sedan. I went from a 2500 suburban down to a 2012 impreza hatch 1.5 yrs ago and I am still getting used to not having the room to haul things. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  19. Those are nice! The same uncle with the gtr had a 99 civic si with a turbo and a 2001 Integra type R turbo. I got to drive the civic, but not then Integra. I want a WRX next. I want a hatch though so I may have to find an older one. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  20. I liked the looks, but I didn't put poppers in so I could only open them from inside and it was a pain. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  21. That car was so much fun. I had it in 2001 when I was 19. I would love to find another one to build someday. It was a sedan and I had the rear door handles saved and I removed the side trim. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have done either Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  22. It is a 69 Camaro. The green one is a Hell cat and the blue is an srt8. The purple one is old with a 440. He has around 30 cars and I haven't seen them in person yet. He lives 2.5hrs away. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  23. This was my favorite car of the 38 I have owned. 1967 Buick Wildcat with hydraulics. It was so much fun Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
