  1. As you can kinda see half of my lot is woods. I have the tan roof on my house, garage and patio... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  2. I have 1.13 acres and I push mow it. That large yard and wood pile are my neighbors, past my patio is woods so that cuts way down on my mowing. Those solar lights are terrible! I have to get a decent set this year. Those are garden beds for now, once I get my main garden setup they will be flower beds. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  3. No doubt! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  4. I did this second raised garden bed on Friday. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  5. That is awesome! I would love to build a router table this summer. We shall see...
  6. Thats a nice machine Jimbo. My step dad processes his own deer and when I gave him my old bench top Craftsman band saw he made a comment about cleaning it up to use for meat. I guess a little saw dust on your steak never hurt anyone...
  7. Welcome. You will learn quickly that Protoolnut really is a NUT! haha. Great bunch of guys on this forum
  8. I started with the 21 day fix container diet with my wife around new years and just kept doing it to an extent since. She makes healthy meals on Sunday and during the week I eat so many servings (containers) of fruits, veggies, proteins, carbs, etc and no pop. It is actually way more food than I used to eat, just healthier. Plus I work 3rd shift so my meals are at different times so this helps me be able to eat a lunch while she eats her dinner and we can still eat together. It is a lot of work for her planning the meals, cooking and packaging everything, but she has a routine now. I feel great which leads me to do more, like clean my garage and other misc things around the house even though its still cold out. Once the warmer weather gets here I will be much busier. Good luck
  9. Thanks buddy. The older I get the harder it is to lose so I (my wife...) figured I better put some effort in now. I will be 34 this year so I guess its about time to get back "in shape". I had interviews for part time at both Lowes and HD, but I refused to work Saturdays so it didn't work out. I was looking for a hobby during the winter more than a second job so I had the luxury of being picky. I know I would have been better than most though.

I have watched a few but never bid on any yet. How long do they usually run on a 1.5 or 4.0?

I have looked at the M18 version a few times but never pulled the trigger. How do you like the M12 speaker? That is another item I have looked at.
  12. I agree that HD staff are way more "aggressive" than Lowes. Not in a bad way, they just seem to be everywhere and everyone asks if you need help. Lowes on the other hand, I rarely get asked if I need help and we have a few employees that I have refused help from. I tried to be nice about it, but I know their plumbing and lumber sections better than most of the employees. Bigmikez you can appreciate this one, I am 6' 4" and after losing 30 lbs as of last week I am down to 345 lbs (45 more to go). I was looking at ladders last fall when the sales kid at Lowes kept trying to talk me into the cheapest 6' ladder they sell over the 300 lbs rated one since it was on sale. Now I feel fine on a 300 and I use them all the time at work, but the 225 lbs ladders no way! It just goes to show how little some of their employees really know about their products.
  13. I thought about that after I post it. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  14. Is there a reason for this length? 9 per 2x4x8 Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  15. Menard's always gets me for something. It's a 45 min drive and they have everything so I always feel compelled to buy something. Lowes is 10 min from my house and I can remember a couple times leaving there without buying anything. HD is about 35 min away so I usually only go there for a specific purchase. 16. The shipping would cost almost that much. That's a great deal
  17. That is a cool idea. What length did you go with? This would be a fun game for the kids or adults to play on my patio during parties.
  18. We had snow Sat night. I was 45 min from home and they got so much I had to pull over because it was a white out for 30 min. Several accidents on the way home too. I plow snow so I am used to driving in bad weather, but this came down so hard and so fast and I wasn't familiar with the roads. Extremely windy all day too which made it worse. My dad is in Bonita Springs, FL for the winter and he always makes those comments too...
  19. Its $29.97 in your pic, are you saying they go on sale for $15 or do you mean they are overpriced for what you get?
  20. Almost done! I was able to park both cars back in my garage for the first time since I started this undertaking. I have a few items to find homes for still and a load of misc tools and tool boxes for my brother, but I am almost ready to start making my patio chairs again. I will try to do pics tomorrow and hopefully a video by the end of the week.
  21. Looks like I should pick up that 45 piece set. I could use a few impact rated drill bits too. I have a Kobalt impact bit set, but the rest of mine are not impact rated. I have yet to buy any Milwaukee bits though since we have a Lowes in town and the closest HD is 35 min in either direction. We did just get a Family Farm and Home store that I saw Milwaukee bits in. I assumed they would be over priced compared to HD or Amazon so I didn't really look too hard at them.
  22. When he said shockwave I pictured them in a Milwaukee red case like the bits come in. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  23. I used to like Jimbo too... haha. I have been really please with my dewalt bits, I just wondered what others are using. I use the 1/4" the most for my metal roof screws and self tapping screws. I also use the 5/16" for self tapping screws and I believe the timber lok lags I used are 5/16" as well. If I need another size nut driver I use a hex to nut driver adapter and a socket. 24. Ok, the red case looks better than yellow wise guy! Haha Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  25. I only really use 1/4" and 5/16" but I wouldn't mind a decent set. I will check out the Milwaukee set, red always looks better than yellow anyway! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
