  1. The forum is really quiet today, I wonder if others are still having an issue? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  2. I was leaning towards the 6.5 M18 but I couldn't pass up the free battery. I will cut some plywood and see how it does. If I had a tripod I would shoot a video, I will see if my wife will help. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  3. Will do. I live 2.5 hrs from Columbus and I considered driving down to pick it up I am so impatient! Haha hopefully I will get it at the beginning of next week. I just need something to cut 2x and plywood here and there. I use my table saw or miter for 99% of my cuts. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  4. Great video Jimbo. I am talking my dad into buying the Fuel Hackzall as we speak to get the free 4.0 battery. I ordered the M12 Fuel circular saw last night from Ohio Power Tool to get the free 4.0 pack. Can't beat that deal, $149. They also have the M12 Fuel Hackzall bare tool with free battery for $139 Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  5. If the new part is only $25 it may not be worth the hassle of shipping it to me? Up to you... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  6. I had thay problem last night too. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  7. This is what I was going by. Ordering parts online can be difficult, especially when I haven't seen any other heated jackets in person to know if they changed to a USB port in newer models. Thanks for the info! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  8. I sent you a message. Thanks Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  9. What do you want for it? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  10. In the questions it says it has a USB port only. The jacket has a round plug, not a USB. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  11. It takes the M12 or M18 batteries but there is an adapter that goes on the battery and then you plug the jacket into the adapter. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  12. I bought a heated hoodie at an auction a few weeks ago and I need to buy the power adaptor for an M12 battery. The jacket has a round plug but all I can seem to find is the USB adaptor. Any suggestions? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah I figured you would like that pic! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  14. Well, I guess they were 5/16. I use those a lot, the 3.5" are cheaper than other sizes, even smaller so I always get them. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  15. Yes, I meant 7/16". My bad Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  16. I use 5/16" x 3.5" construction lags all the time and my impact drives them in fast without flinching. I want the HT impact though, that thing looks awesome Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  17. It should sink those lags you have way faster than your drill did, I use my impacts for almost everything.
  18. I am blown away by the power of the M12 Fuel and if you are using them for diy or homeowner work they are worth looking at. Doing decks and light construction they would work too, but you may drive screws a little faster with the M18 impact. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  19. I understand wanting the best bang for the buck, buy you also need to factor in what you personally need vs what is out there. I have the brushed 2607 hammer drill and 2656 impact and both are awesome tools. I also have the M12 Fuel 2404 hammer drill and 2453 impact. I have the M12 brushed 2407 and 2462 impact too, but I am giving them to my Dad. All of these tools are great in my opinion, it just comes down to what you need and what your budget is. I would suggest getting the xc batteries, the tools will all do what you need them to as long as you have a decent battery pack. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  20. The 3rd one is brushless and comes with one xc battery and one compact. They make many different drills and combo kits so the best advice I have is to look at whats included in the kit. It will say at the bottom of the description. The first and fourth kits are the same tools with different batteries, plus the special buy free 4.0 on the first kit only. The first comes with the XC (3.0) batteries and the other comes with the compact batteries which are 2.0 I believe. The second kit is not a hammer drill and the third kit is brushless, but not fuel. They usually include bigger batteries in the brushless and fuel kits as well as most hammer drill kits.
  21. http://www.homedepot.com/p/compare/?errorURL=ProductAttributeErrorView&langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&prodComp_0=204308870&prodComp_1=100650378&prodComp_2=205846386&prodComp_3=202951723&keyword=M18%20drill%20impact Here are all the ones I found. If it was me, I would spend the $299 and get the XC kit with the free 4.0. I have the XC kit and they are great, I also added a 5.0 so I never have to worry about running out of power.
  22. The 4 digit model number is per tool, so yes the 2602, 2606 and 2607 are all different tools. As I said in the last post, the -20 means bare tool. The kit model number 2697 and 2691 are both different kits, regardless of the -22 or -22CT. The 2607 is a hammer drill/driver and the 2606 is just a drill/driver. I know it can be confusing, it took me a while to figure it out.
  23. Ok, the CT means compact battery as far as I know. Milwaukee uses the -20, -21, -22, -21CT, -22CT to indicate how many batteries come in the kit. -20 is the bare tool, -21 has one battery, -22 has 2 batteries. The drill in the bottom pic is a hammer drill, you can see the hammer symbol on the side of the drill right behind the chuck. As far as the impacts, they say they are the same model number, but they are clearly different in the pic. Trust the model number over the pic, however the pics at HD are usually accurate. They also make a Driver that is not a drill, it only has the 1/4" hex quick connect like an impact.
  24. I have noticed the big difference in pricing for the kits as well. The kit you posted for $259 has a hammer drill and the impact looks slightly different, but I assume it is newer or older then the $199 kit. The $259 kit looks to come with 2 compact vs the standard packs in the $199 kit. The free tool or flashlight deal changes frequently on their website, it just depends on the day. I am not sure what you are asking though?
  25. Glad this worked out for Protoolnut. He will wonder why he didn't buy one years ago once he gets to use it. Especially with those 4.0 batteries he has.
