I have a HF recip saw too and it works fine. Not in the same league as the Milwaukee but it does what it's supposed to do. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

LT tires are cheaper for your truck? That's usually the other way around Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

B&D owns Dewalt so it makes sense. Black and decker makes decent tools, I had many of them without ever having one break. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

The LT and load range depend on your vehicle. Never install a lower grade tire. If your truck calls for a LT load range E don't put a passenger car tire on it. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

General Grabber AT2s. I had them on my f250 plow truck and they were awesome. I put 35k miles on them and they still had over 1/2 the tread remaining when I traded it in. Snow rated and quiet on the highway. I took it off road too and they had great mud traction as well. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I have some PB Blaster dry lube I bought for my table and miter saw that seems to work ok, I am sure its similar to the WD 40 dry lube. I would try good ole WD 40 first though. Steel wool and WD 40 should take most of the rust off.

My dad has that K-400 snake and it works great. He bought it at an auction a couple years ago brand new in the box for $150! They are very nice to have.

I sanded every side smooth, but I am going to try to do a better job on the next set and see if it makes a difference. We had snow and temps down in the teens over the weekend so I didn't get anything done on Sat or Sun. Gotta love Ohio weather...

I don't know how I would feel drilling into my cords? I usually just tie them in a loose knot or duct tape.

Mondo, did you get yours sanded yet? It has been years since I played Jenga, but I remember there was always a few you could tap out really easy and others were much harder to move. On the first set I used 150 grit and my ROS 5" sander, but I noticed I only had one that would slip out easily. I am trying to decide whether this is normal for the 2x4 set considering the weight or if I need to sand the other sets down more. I have a couple belt sanders I could use or maybe I need to drop down to 80 grit on my 5"? They look good with the 150 and I was able to round the edges and get all the labeling off of them.

I had heard that but I wasn't sure. Thanks Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Something tells me you would be the guy to ask which Ryobi 18v tools use the same batteries? Do the older blue tools still work with the 18 one+ batteries? I go to auctions frequently and I would like to pick up tools that work with my step dad's kit. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Nice collection. I just bought my step dad a Ryobi 18v one+ combo kit to get him started. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I have the Milwaukee that looks identical and it works great for saw dust. I blow my garage out with it, but I doubt it would move wet leaves very well. It is impressive for its size though. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

They have a pinkish color vs the white studs which I think looks better too. I don't know the species though. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I used 150. I sanded the boards before I cut them and then went back and hit the faces and edges. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

It worked well. I did the top and bottom edge then flipped them around. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

First one done. Here is how I sanded the edges. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
