  4. True but you get a fair amount of use out of them. Still less expensive than the Klein electrical tools. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  5. Welcome to the forums! Make yourself at home and feel free to participate in the discussions. Lots of great people and information here. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  6. The insulated screwdrivers are super nice. I really enjoy most of Milwaukees hand tools. Some need minor improvements but for the most part, are great tools. Love the lifetime warranty on them too. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  7. DeWalt 4 piece screwdriver set. On sale usually around $10. Touted a diamond tough coat on the tip.... and yet it broke on first use tightening a screw on a DeWalt drill chuck that seized. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  8. How many miles were on that engine when you put in the Amsoil? I ask because switching to Amsoil can sometimes actually clean out any deposits and/or metals. It could also be that the rings are worn and that engine likes the thicker oil. Amsoil tends to run a bit thinner at operating temperature while meeting proper weight and viscosity.
  9. A beautiful sight to see.... a sea of red.
  10. Im anxious to see the run time on the new 6.0 aH battery. Hoping a full charge will last all day.
  11. 1/4 ratchet would be a nice add in to my collection is well. I will keep my eyes open for a deal like that. Thanks for the advice.
  12. Anyone know of any deals on the M12 3/8 Fuel Impact wrench (2454-20) or have any feedback on it? It is one of the last tools to complete my automotive tools collection. I already have the M18 1/2 impact wrench which is overkill on outdoor power equipment. I need something power and is small and easy to handle.
  13. It would be nice to have a decent sized shop. My shop is a garage which is super small. Supposedly a single car but you cant fit a tool chest in there or shelves. So right now, its storage and a mini shop where I can do small wood projects and work on outdoor power equipment .
  14. This is my storage and organization for all my cordless. Far too often I find myself doing random jobs away from my garage, sometimes automotive, sometimes carpentry and construction. I found this as a good solution as I can fit all of these in the trunk of my car. As much as I dislike DeWalt tools, they have nice boxes. I believe its due to Zagg Industries making a quality product and DeWalt slaps a label and color scheme on it. Regardless, these are nice boxes and serve their purposes well. Now only if Milwaukee would design a storage system like these I would be all over them.

As promised, here are a few pictures of that mess. I apologize for not getting this done sooner, but I have been very busy with other mechanical work and oil changes.
  16. I notice the same problem here in the Pacific NW. A large amount of people no longer change their own oil or dont change it period. They all take their cars to dealers or shops and pay anywhere from $65 to $100 for an oil change using "quality synthetics". When they do change their oil, its being done every 5,000 miles which is outrageous. I do my own oil changes on all the vehicles in my family and in-laws. I just store the used oil in a coulple 5gallon buckets and when full, take them to O'Reillys down the street. Free disposal. I use Amsoil in all the vehicles which saves a lot of time and money, both on oil changes and maintenance. I use their Signature Series which is a 25,000/1 year oil. Costs about $85 once a year, which includes filter. More for larger engines.
  17. Milwaukee stomps Dewalt. Working in the tool department I see first hand the number of returns and condition of them when returned. Dewalt is no longer making a quality, heavy duty power tool. Milwaukee does. Not to mention a far better warranty with 5 years on the tools which doent cost you a dime to have fixed. Dewalt makes you pay for shipping and are extremelt stingy on what is covered for warranty repairs.

Food for thought.... After diving in to a broken driveline on a 87 toyota camry and dealing with the nightmare, I have decided it is cheaper to sell the car for scrap metal and purchase another piece of crap car. Sometimes, its just more cost effective. Unfortunately, this is my friend's car and cant afford to do that. So now, I get to deal with sheared off studs to the drive shaft assembly which the axle attaches to. Thankfully, my Milwaukee cordless made the job a little more bearable. Pictures to come when it doesnt give me upload errors...
  20. Awesome. Thanks for the replies. Looks like that will be my newest toy. Just have to find a good price now.
  21. I am the market for a cordless 1/2 impact wrench and have been eyeballing the new one. I saw HD had it on sale with battery/charger for $119 but are all sold out. Anyone have feedback on it?
  22. I havent had an opportunity to use a few of their items yet but I do like their grinder. Gives you the battery life desired in a grinder. Not quite the same as your 11 amp corded grinder but impressive still.
  23. Absolutely it is. I get to see all the new products from Bosch, Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita. Actually have a Dewalt sale today featuring the new Flexvolt.
  24. Available are cabinet mounting screws. They usually are a #8 or #10 and have a large washer head on them. They are designed specifically for mounting cabinets. Definitely screw into the studs. Drywall isnt anywhere near strong enough to hold the weight.
