  1. You've got a really good setup, keep it up chris!
  2. Huh interesting . I guess it was over torqued for the surge? I have a video or pictures I will try to get of me running a 5/8 by 4'' lag into a 4x4 of oak it did the job, but it did stop once or twice
  3. Well I'm not sure? Maybe if this pattern continues at other HD's or other tool retailers maybe milwaukee is coming out with some new slim packs? Or just because they've been sitting on the shelves for years now at my HD.
  4. Your certainly right I had only 1 slim 2.0 pack out of the 15 but now 21 batteries I owned. It was so frustrating when my 2.0 battery died on my drywall gun... lol I'm also excited about that drywall attachment coming soon Milwaukee_man_stan 73 Started conversation: January 11 · Report do you have any idea when the drywall collated attachment is coming out for your new fuel screwgun? Quote Edit A_Milwaukee_Engineer 24 Replied: January 11 · Report I'll be intentionally vague and say that it will be announced soon and it's not far off. I can't spill the beans early.
  5. Yes I know You can buy them off Ebay for almost the same price sometimes...and my home depot has a pretty strict policy Prices On Discounts Final... But since it still come with that 3 year battery warranty I'm still pleased. And I've been needing to lighten my load on my surge I love my surge but since it weights 2 pounds and my 5.0 amp battery weights 1.5 lbs I thought I might need to change that a little
  6. My home depot is trying to get rid of their milwaukee m18 1.5 amp slim packs, of course they weren't going to try to put them on the yellow tag till they wanted to, but today at my store they finally thought it was time for them to go for 25$ I Immediately Bought all 6 fo them, and the tool department manger said "uuuhhgg Finally their gone! Thank you!" lol I guess he was happy they were gone.
  7. I guess your right only 2 brands to choose from but what about the cartridges.
  8. I just bough the M18 fuel braking grinder kit with free battery and got 10% using their promo code I got in the mail. Needed it for my upcoming I-Beam job pretty excited to get it. Also considering buying a table saw with flesh detection any recommendations.
  9. OH nvm I see it's the die grinder, Very cool.
  10. It should handle this very well with no problem.
  11. Yes I own the same Bosch one as @james10million They are tons easier to use than levels. Escavating laying waste pipes Cabinets any leveling job it can handle Lasers MASTER MOST jobs but Levels also have a key role. to me levels are good for quick grab to see if this of that board is level. It sort of the final check for me.
  12. I love the Milwaukee cut out tool, but i've never heard of it being a router. If it can be can you tell me were the accessories are for it being a router?
  13. Has anyone ever been successful on milwaukee's rebates? I'm thinking about trying to get the free backpack with purchase of at least 100$ worth hand tools, power tools, etc although its not very clear on what tools qualify I'm thinking about purchasing their 12 Inch. measuring wheel and some of their hand tools hoping it will qualify for some of their rebates. hesitant to do so, due to my past accomplices with them...
  14. Nice, good work. The plastic guard definitely looks better than the old one, was it just fading for use, or just because it was the old model plastic gaurd?
  15. I found this at my HD today looks like their clearing the old for the new they have 5 left... It seems 2 weeks in February it should go down to 50%. When I first came in, I saw someone hauling off the top part of the Milwaukee 46 incher. I said "thats a good tool chest" and he said "the price is good to I bought it for 150$" Immediately went to go look for the chest but were depleted... sold out.
  16. I bought the Pittsburgh 3/4 sets, standard, metric, pretty good for the price, of course I really only use the 1 1/2 inch. for the big deck lags once in awhile. This really does the job! I love my 3/4
  17. Huh it actually worked, all my cracks on my old s4 seem less noticeable, and my finger glides on the touchscreen like it's almost new, some odd fix .
  18. Pretty sweet deals My HD has the same deal on the milwaukee top chest (although it's not a yellow tag).
  19. Amazing difference it seems faster less vibration to, you hear the bearing's louder than the Impacts per second it's awesome My favorite tool I have ever bought. So far it hasn't failed any task I have given it and I have driven some pretty big lags with it it's pretty powerful for what the numbers give. What they claim is true!
  20. I would just buy a new drill if price doesn't matter, and send the broken chuck one to Milwaukee, or if you have a HD near you with a power tool rental they should have a chuck their for that drill and will fix it in a jif (but with charge). and if you like your new one just sell the old one To me it sounds better just to buy a new one and sell my old one when it's fixed than buy an expensive chuck... Believe me I had the same problem with my old Gen 1 Impact I was worried I wasn't going to get it back for weeks, but Milwaukee fixed it up and got it to me in under a week with no charge. I don't know maybe my advice is bad, I don't want to be the cause of a major disaster
  21. Razvan, the best thing to do is service the tool (if the chuck is not repairable). new chucks cost 40-90$ and if replaced by yourself you lose the warranty. I say put it back together nice and neat take the few weeks and hope for the best lol.
  22. I should try this one my old S4, it has a few bad cracks and is broken perfect experiment, thanks Tony.
