I have to thin down my battery platforms. These are the only Bosch 12v tools I have. I have a bunch of Ryobi stuff for home use and will be replacing these with Ryobi. The Beast has arrived! I'll primarily be using this with a clay spade for digging holes to set sign posts in concrete. But nice to also have the capability to drill 1-9/16" holes in concrete and 4" core drill concrete.

Glad you like them @BMack37. I have yet to organize mine. Need to figure out a good way to mount them to the doors first.

….So all of that brings me to these. For me, I think they’re going to be perfect. They have mounting holes, so I can fasten them to the doors. The only potential issue is I don’t know how much jostling they can take – so the mounting may require some extra attention. Other than that, I like that when mounted, they can be folded during transport. It saves room and keeps everything secure. When you need to access them, pop the two clips, fold down the outer half and you have full access. The bins are fully sealed with lids, so the contents stays in the bin. The lids also solve the issue of potentially spilling the contents if you bring a bin with you on a job. Dividers are included which is great for when you have small parts that don’t require a full bin. The bins clip into the carrier and can also clip to your belt which is great for working on ladders, bucket trucks, lifts, etc. The bins can be rearranged and the carrier also comes with a shoulder strap in case you want to bring the entire thing with you. The construction overall seems really solid. I have yet to mount these, but I think they’re going to work pretty great. The word ‘best’ is obviously relative to your needs, but pretty happy with these organizers I found… The attached pictures show my current setup for parts organizers on my van. It works decently, but when I’m driving, the contents often bounce out of the top of the drawers and wind up in other drawers, at the bottom of the organizer, etc… I started looking at other organizers, and although I like the new(ish) Milwaukee and DeWalt ones, those still have issues (for my use). I pretty much want/need the organizers on the doors of the van. Even if the organizers have a way to be mounted, I would need to remove them every time to access the contents. Not very practical. Also, I will often bring a single bin of parts in with me on a job. The down side to an open bin is that they can easily be spilled.

Thanks all! If I had the partition, I couldn't carry 10' signs & posts inside. I could carry them on the roof, but prefer to have the ability to carry them inside. The ladder is held pretty securely, plus secured with an aircraft cable, plus two straps that run through the roof rails. Not saying in the worst case scenario something bad couldn't happen, but if I were in a wreck bad enough to make the ladder come off, I've probably got worse problems. Thanks, Chris. I can still fit a few sheets of 4'x8' material on the floor with everything as-is. The T-staks are sitting on 2"x4"s which typically gives me all of the room I need for a few sign faces, etc. If I need to carry a bunch of sheets of something, I can pull the T-staks out pretty quickly, load the material, then unlatch the T-staks as needed and just set them on top of the sheet material. That's a pretty rare occurrence though.

Did some tweaking today. Installed some 1″ square aluminum tubing with the DeWalt Tough System brackets to hold the Tough Boxes. They were previously resting precariously on the wheel well and held in place with a strap. Cumbersome and irritating to put in and take out. Now I can just slide it on and off the brackets. The cart was basically put in the same way previously, but on the other wheel well. Just kind of sat on the wheel well and strapped in. Decided to put everything on one side. So moved the 1″ square tube that I had just installed and put some brackets in for the cart. Now everything is consolidated on one side.

Nice van setup. That sound deadening should make it more enjoyable to drive. Thanks guys. I got my covers for the parts organizers installed yesterday so the drawers don't slide out. Ran out of rivets though, so that's why there are holes drilled with nothing in them.

Thanks guys. It's definitely a work in progress. PROTOOLNUT, yeah, the van isn't tall enough to stand up in, even without the ladder on the roof. I have to be able to get in parking garages, so this is about as tall a vehicle as I could get. I also need to be able to fit 4x8 material in the back. For me, this is about as perfect of a vehicle as there is. I don't spend much time in the back except to grab the tools I need.

My previous vehicle was a 2008 Tundra. Loved the truck but needed more room, so I picked up a 2016 Mercedes Metris. Added sound deadener throughout the back, the cross bars on the roof for extension ladder, scaffolding, etc., an interior roof-mounted ladder rack, the DeWalt Tstak boxes, a couple of parts-organizer bins on the back doors, tow hitch for cargo carrier which is en-route (for bags of concrete, generator, etc.). The last picture was before I got the interior ladder rack. Figured I'd post for others in the trades that might be interested. It's a great little work van.

Thanks all. Yeah, the adapters are in the very bottom of the box. I almost missed mine, because they put the adapters under a piece of cardboard that almost looks like the bottom of the box. So I'm guessing you just missed them.
