    Home Depot

This is probably a 'your mileage may vary' deal, but my Home Depot had one of these DeWalt inflators WITH battery for $79. It was in a cart labeled "last one". Might be worth checking your local HD.
  2. As soon as you embrace it and don't view it as a problem, it becomes much easier to submit lol... Sign installation
  3. Thank you! Thank you. Yeah, the Ryobi vac is pretty decent. If a black and yellow one comes out, I'll replace it, but for now, it serves its purpose. I've got pics of my van HERE.
  4. ...that was the challenge. Lots of tools with not a lot of space, so had to keep everything as compact as possible. Bought five lateral filing cabinets. They work great for storage (paint, yard chemicals, automotive supplies, work supplies, etc.). I can't think of a better system - for me anyway. My larger tools fit nicely in a row up on top and are easily accessible. The shelf to the left holds the miter saw stand, both blowers, the tripod light, drill, impact, bandsaw, circular saws. The boxes are the large socket set, wall scanner, and other misc items. The tool chest on the right is a husky with a DeWalt label on it. 😇 Both cars still easily fit which was the end goal. Epoxied and flaked the floor over the last few days...hopefully that holds up.
  5. I keep these on the van. Don't need something this size too often so wasn't worried about the best there was....I was more concerned about it being compact. These fit the bill perfectly. i've cut a bunch with them, they're pretty decent, priced right and fold away for storage. Plus they're black and yellow. 😎 https://www.amazon.com/ToughBuilt-TB-BC-01001A-14-Inches-Compact-Cutter/dp/B00582WQA2/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_469_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=3HD2W7K5PJJ9WZQNN2V0
  6. Thanks! The passenger versions come from the factory with limo tint on the back windows, so I only had to add it to the front. Yeah, the Tstaks work great.
  7. The van is WAY quieter than the cargo version so my intent was to have everything I needed but not do any modification if necessary to the actual van. I wanted to keep it 'travel friendly' and keep the passenger look as much as possible. I have the 2nd and 3rd rows of seats that I can put in for road trips, camping, etc. In less than 10 minutes, I can completely unload everything work related and in another 10 minutes, have the seats in and be ready to roll with up to 6 other passengers. Pretty happy with the switch. If anyone is looking for a van that will carry 4'x8' material, fit in virtually any parking garage and still be family friendly, this is a great option.
  8. Used an existing anchor point and screw to attach a bracket that I could attach the green line DeWalt laser to. It's just a bit too thick to keep in a Tstak drawer.
  9. At the back I keep my "98% cart". It's a stack of Tstaks that typically has virtually anything I need for most installs. I have a ratchet strap going through the various attachment points in the floor and it keeps the Tstaks in place when driving. The access panel on the right is removable. It's for the jack but has a ton of room for my caulk gun & silicone, some sockets, drill & tap set, etc. I put a couple of squares of the 'hook' side of Velcro on the back of the Stabila levels and they stay in place nicely on the carpeted area. Pics were taken before I mounted the hooks for the ladder and work platform....
  10. Next, I put a few hooks on the back of the Tstaks. These keep the step ladder off the floor on the drivers side and keep my windshield shade and work platform in place on the passengers side.
  11. Previously, I had my parts organizers sitting on top of the Tstaks and they were kept in place by stretching a bungee over top of them. It worked fine, but to access the contents, I'd have to pull one of the organizers completely out, set it on the Tstaks, open it, get what I needed, and then shimmy it back under the bungee. Not a huge deal, but when you're going back for stuff a few times, it gets irritating. So I wound up taking the same bungee and stretching it across both of them while they're open. Then I can just close the organizers and latch them and they stay in place perfectly. When I want to access them, just flip the latches, open the organizer and everything is accessible and the bungee keeps it in place.
  12. First thing I did was to put the Tstaks in facing the sliding doors on both sides. Now when I open the doors, everything is right there.
  13. I posted my first Metris (here). It was the cargo version. My main complaints were the road noise, poor interior lighting in the back, only having a sliding door on the passenger side and poor visibility/blind spots. I had my Tstaks stacked on the drivers side wall and had to climb into the van to open the drawers every time I needed something. Not a big deal if the van was empty but if I had stuff in the back, it was constantly in the way. Took that in for servicing a few months ago and got looking around and they had a Service Loaner passenger version for sale. Didn't think much about it at first but then went back and started brainstorming of how I could outfit it and got to dreaming about actually having a line of sight out the side windows. And being able to reverse my Tstaks so I could access them from the outside of the van rather than inside. After thinking it over for a while, I had to have it. Traded mine in on this and I'm loving it.
  14. "Equipped with factory installed ODS and a thermoelectric safety valve you can feel comfortable using this certified indoor safe heater anywhere."
  15. This thing is a beast. Other than the doors feeling kind of cheap, the rest of it is pretty impressive. The handle folds down, which can be helpful when needing to direct the light. My first thought was if there's a power outage in the cold, this gives you heat and a light, but you can aim the light upward instead of having it facing where you're likely sitting trying to get warm. The propane connectors both swivel outward so they're completely horizontal. Makes it super easy to attach the tanks. There are keyholes on the back in case you're using it in a small location on a jobsite or in a shop or garage. Pretty cool little unit.
  16. Title should indicate that this is a speaker, not a radio, correct? Or am I missing the radio part...?
  17. They have 12v lasers as well. Also the wall scanner. That little 12v flashlight. Still some solid and heavily used tools in the 12v line. 12v is the perfect size for them. It's a system that's not nearly as diverse as the 20v but the tools the 12v fits on, you wouldn't want a 20v battery on there. I wouldn't anyway.
  18. They essentially took the Tough System radio, made it smaller, gave it more features and it now clips on the Tstaks. I think the radio actually sounds better. It definitely sounds as good as the Tough System radio. The first time I played it, my wife said 'that sounds better than the bigger one'.
  19. Brand new, complete kit minus the battery. Includes only what is shown. Will ship in original box. $250 shipped to the lower 48.
  20. Took mine into the repair center this morning. Told them they had just 'fixed it' but I had gotten it home and it wouldn't sink a nail. They took it into the back. Rep came out a few minutes later and said it's working fine. I asked to go back and see. Go back and the guy said the first nail didn't go all the way in. He took out the Grip-Rite's and put in DeWalt's. Said it worked perfectly. Put the Grip Rite's back in, still worked perfectly. Brought it home, still works perfectly. Weird.
  21. I acquired a brand new one on trade recently and am having the same issue. Won't completely sink a nail, the light flashes, I reset it, same results. Took it to the service center, they "fixed it". Got it home, it does the exact same thing. I'll keep bringing it back until they replace it I guess.
