  1. Register the PRODUCT! If you don't, the warranty is three years.
  2. It may have to do with you living in Canada. Again, I run a Hardware department for HD in the United States, the kits that we have gotten come with the 2.0 amp batteries.
  3. Every Home Depot will accept Lowes and Menards coupons. But most and I personally would never accept a Harbor Freight coupon. I'm selling you a Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt, Ridgid, Paslode, or Bostitch and you expect me to take a coupon that allows you to buy Chicago Electric?
  4. Yes! My District(West Michigan) has already transitioned into offering Singles and a larger assortment. The only thing that we don't carry is Individual Deep-Well sockets.
  5. Ok, I will come out of the closet.......I run a Hardware Department for Home Depot in Michigan. I think that we caught on that selling this $89.00 dollars in a REALLY GOOD DEAL! They are fazing this out and just are going to sell the table, which is around $99.00 dollars and the router itself which is $59.00 dollars. Any time it says "Out of Stock Online" is a sign that the item is going away. Some HD's may have them on the self if they are left over and others(like mine) sold out the stock we had months ago.
  6. I have an extra Milwaukee m12 Hammer Drill and Impact combo bag that my buddy gave to me.......and I realized after I got it that I don't even like putting my stuff in mine. I have the Hammer Drill, Impact, Hackzall, Multi-tool, flashlight, and four batteries in one bag. Should I invest in a tough box? I guess I would rather spend the money on the Bosch per I am not the biggest fan of Dewalt. I am getting the consensus that the Bosch boxes are pretty nice?
  7. They may have stop selling that combo at HDs........lets just say I know somebody. It might be one of those things that you have to search for at a couple of HDs to find one in stock.
  8. Not to bring negativity to this topic, but when I was really bored one day I stumbled upon a vodcast(a podcast that is video taped) with two guys talking about the differences between an Impact driver and a Drill/driver. Was the most difficult thing I ever listened to in my life! But i personally listen to sports podcasts, but if there are any good tools ones I would love to know where to find them.
  9. My Makita rep told me that they were gonna be rolling out a new radio soon.......that was like 4 months ago.
  10. I don't think they did, but it just kind of "pisses me off" that I love the tools but every time I use that flimsy battery it eats a part of my soul;/
  11. I have two "Red Lithium" batteries that are solid as a rock, they are the older style. However, my Red Lithium that is newer(changed the styling on the back) and the 2.0 battery I got for free don't feel as solid and one is already wobbly as hell. Must have changed factories in China.
  12. M12 Drill and Impact with two batteries is about 159.00 at HD and 179.00 other places. So i think the 150-170 for those tools with four batteries is fair. I just don't know what people expect to pay for used tools and the condition of that the tools are in also plays a role.
  13. Scratch together $99 bucks, go to Home Depot buy the M12 Screwdriver. You will get two batteries in the kit and a free 2.0 ah battery. 3 batteries for under $100 bucks. I'm talking about the old M12, not the one they just did the review on. I saw in another post how you kind of wanted more batteries than two. But to be honest, one of my batteries did the same thing. The one I got with my hackzall was kind of loose, I am OCD and it really bothers me. I'm gonna just live with it, but you are not alone in that problem. The worst part is that I've only had that battery for over a month.
  14. Must say, the production values on your videos are truly top notch.
  15. If you go to Milwaukee's website they are rolling out a bunch of new stuff(like insulated screwdrivers)
  16. If they are gonna be available only at Sears then naturally they will be priced higher than Craftsman because they will be the premium in comparison.
  17. The signage that you would see in the store does not really do the offer justice. Essentially any kit that you see that has a battery in it(not bare tools) is part of the offer. Picked up a 12v Hackzall and got the free battery. Sadly for me, I bought my M12 Hammer/Drill and Impact kit with a free Mulit-tool back in February($159). But 4 batteries is more than enough for a DYI'r like me.
  18. "Fantastic Drill, Idiot tradesman" Best line from a tool review I think I've ever heard.
  19. B&Q is an example of a European Home Depot/Lowes/Menards.
  20. That has the size of the Dewalt 20v Hammer Drill. I guess the "Premium" Dewalt models are a little bit beefer and have the all metal chuck versus the Compact which has a Metal chuck with a plastic casing. Did you get that in a Combo kit? Drill/Driver and Impact, or just the Drill/Driver by itself?
  21. The hinge on the 12v recip saw for Dewalt makes me think it wont be that durable. (Sorry the image is so large)
  22. Forgive me. I didnt mean to write 20v, I meant the 12v version.
  23. Milwaukee is gonna role out some new version of the Fastback (Fastback II) which will have blade storage and I believe a new Screwdriver multi-bit screwdriver.
  24. Dewalt and in the same token the Porter Cable 20v recip saws look about as durable as play-dough. I have the Hackzall and just use it for DYI stuff, but it just feels solid. I don't like the "adjustability" of the Dewalt and Porter Cable. Edit***** Meant to write 12v not 20v
