rrich1
I would like to build a router table into one of the wings of my table saw. the two routers I think it is between is the bosch 2.5 hp and the triton 3.5 hp. The triton I wouldn't need a lift. The bosch I would. the bosch is currently on sale for 190 but would need to add at least a $200 lift. The triton is $250 again no lift needed. Anyone have the triton and give me some feedback on it?
comp56
I do not have or tried the triton but this review from a while back may or may not help you..... http://www.toolsofthetrade.net/power-tools/benchtop-tools/tool-test-3-horsepower-plunge-routers_o
ChrisK
I've got the Bosch 1617EVS 2.25 hp fixed base router as well as the Festool OF1400 for my 1/2" shanks. I keep my Bosch fixed in a Bosch RA1181 router table and have had great success with it whereas I use my OF1400 on the rail and freehand. Bosch makes a great router. I used to have a 1-3/4hp Milwaukee. I ended up selling it for the want of more power but. Ilwaukee makes a great one too. PC is always a great choice to boot.
