stewharr
Don't know if everyone here already knows about the Ryobi Recall site, it's a tiny link at the very bottom of their website. Anyway, I happened across it and found my corded $40 leaf blower on it I called the 800 number (tried submitting online first and was told to call the 800 number). It was pretty painless, they are sending fedex to pick up my current blower minus the tube next week, so we'll see. https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/safety Mine had the damage listed in the recall notice too, but no one was hurt.
Kato
I've done two recalls with them, palm sander and old blue drill. Both times were easy and painless.
