Craigh9916
I've noticed today that if I do any bevel cuts the locking pin that holds the saw down for when you lock and carry the saw drops into place because the saw is tilted to the left and that's the way the pin slides ? Is this normal or should the pin stay in the out position ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The.Handyman
I don't have that issue.

Craigh9916
Well how does the pin in yours hold back from sliding because mine is loose and slides easy ?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mordekyle
I have the same problem. I did buy the saw when it first came out, maybe there was an issue with the earlier models.I keep a rubber band on mine. When I use the saw, I put the rubber band over the pin, so it doesn't slide in and lock the head.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turner85
Was using it today. Not sliding on me but only took the lightest of taps to get it to drop. Did u oil yours or anything?
Mordekyle
Mine has done it since day one. Never lubed it. Considered hitting it with a hammer to bend the pin a bit, but didn't for fear of breaking the cast.Is there an "anti- lubricant" I could use to increase friction?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
npcnj8
For what it worth Doesn't happen on the US model. This pin on my saw is actually the opposite, tought to pull out. Maybe Dewalt fixed that at some point. Maybe you can get a new pin?
