JakeDewalt
Link to PR magnetic or or non magnetic tip. The thing I thought was cool was the added pole attachment.
The.Handyman
It's so nice to use too! The magnetic tip is excellent.

Why wouldn't you get the one with the magnetic tip? I don't see why not. If your shooting wood to concrete it's just a regular tip at that point. Other question ion will this completely replace the need for a Ramset .27 ?

Not quite since the longest pins will be 2 1/4 so hang on to your Ramset for now. General rule of thumb is 1 inch penetration into concrete so if your nailing a 2 x 4, you still need a 2 1/2 inch pin

Only metal I think he is saying you can't do a PT 2x4 then the metal sole plate. Which is required where I live. Metal cannot touch the slab
Framer joe
It doesn’t shoot nails long enough to nail a 2x6pt sill plate onto the foundation....besides that’s not code...a sill plate requires a “titen bolt” drilled in ,at least 5” into the foundation every 32” or a foundation bolt anchored 12” deep in the wall with a 2.5inch square plate and nut...... ....it looks like it’s for metal stud guys amchoring a bottom plate
