reassembling ryobi bp42 blower

if this isnt the right place, please forgive me, and let me know where this topic would be better suited.

i've torn apart my ryobi bp42 (RY08420A), and reassembled it, with one small hiccup- my power head and heat dams seem to have somehow switched positions, and my power block almost seems to be upside down... and the thing of it is, is that aside from these three bits, everything else seems to be in order. i've been trying to use parts diagrams through google, but am having no luck.

tips? tricks? anything at all, at this point, would be greatly welcomed. thanks in advance.

EDIT:

by flipping the piston around, i was able to correct my initial problem... however, now part of my fly wheel is hitting (what i believe is) part of my ignition setup.

where have i gone wrong?
