rgormey Posted February 1, 2020 Report Posted February 1, 2020 I have two cordless tools Ryobi impact wrench model number R18IW7 But what i have noticed is that on the impact unit with the later date stamp (2019) it has the words "TYPE II" on the ID plate. model dated 2019 "type II" model dated 2018 nothing Can anyone please tell me what the difference is in regards to the reference to the "type II" wording so..... whats the difference? what does the "type-II" mean? thanks kindly...
fm2176 Posted February 1, 2020 Report Posted February 1, 2020 DeWalt does this as well, and I'm fairly certain the "type" simply denotes a small change in materials or design.
