Harold Wray
All this talking about screw drivers (and other tools) I couldn't help myself. Last night I went and bought this Milwaukee 10 in 1. I know it's not Proto or one of the other big boys but I love it.
Harold Wray
Nobody better ask me for a video tool tour.
DR99
I want a video tour with multiple high angle shots and sweeping pan's of the screwdriver plus it needs directors commentary track about the emotions of shooting a screwdriver review. j/k

Not everything has to be Proto, just most of it.Milwaukee hand tools are pretty nice. Dan is a big fan of them.
firefighter4187
Yeah I am starting to like Milwaukee's hand tool line more and more!, they are so innovative! Let us know how you like that Harold, and im assuming you got it at Home depot?
Conductor562
I want the Milwaukee tape measure. First one I see is mine!
Harold Wray
That was funny Dr. Conductor, I can tell your not a tool snob. Reading all your posts, you appreciate good tools that will last. Yes I got it at home depot. It was $16. The ratchet mechanism is smooooth. It accepts any hex bit so I put some of my shockwave bits in it and they worked perfectly. It really does feel well built. You can tell they thought about what they were making. I also broke down and bought the fastback and the needle nose electricians pliers. The pliers are very solid also. 07Sierra
http://www.dewalt.com/tools/hand-tools-measuring-tools-short-tapes-dwht33385l.aspx I like the dewalt tape measure but I just bought a good one the other day http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/6/Tools/MeasuringTools/Tapes/PRD~0577101P/Mastercraft+Tape+Measure.jsp?locale=en Mine is broke down into like every single fraction, really helps out... I always found stanley made the best tape measures... It''s the only ones my friend will buy
Conductor562
I prefer the tapes that list the fractions. Isn't nessesarily a deal breaker if the don't have them, but it is nice.
Harold Wray
That's a nice tape measure Sierra. I have Stanley ones. Just like the simplicity of them. I'm sure there not as durable as that dewalt or the Milwaukee ones that are going to come out. Fractions are great Conductor but my eyes can't take that. To many marks and my head starts spinning. 07Sierra
The pic of my mastercraft from the looks is out of date because like I mentioned mine lists the fractions and the standout is about 8 ft which isn't bad... And mine was on sale for like 7.99 when I got it
firefighter4187
I like having the fractions, now the big question, who likes self locking, and who doesnt? Haha
Harold Wray
Personally, I think self locking gets in the way.
firefighter4187
Yeah, some days I want selflocking, and some i dont haha.
Conductor562
I don't like a self locker really.
robe5000
Its the most Important thing in our box, what are you using? I use Snap-on for work and craftsman at home, the older American craftsman that is, I also have the Wera torx set for work
Conductor562
The Craftsman drivers are still made in the USA by Western Forge.
NicholasShetley
I have a 40 something piece set of craftsman screwdrivers that I use and abuse and I have yet to break one tip. My dad has the craftsman professional ones and the tips are more fragile (guess how I found that out).
Conductor562
Over the years I've come to appreciate hard handled screwdrivers. Cushion grips are so hard to keep clean.
