jim roller
10+ year old craftsman 2500 power washer. Shuts down after a few minutes under load. Decided to give it a once over; new carb, new air filter, new spark plug. Added new pump oil. Remove/cleaned unloader valve. RMP is now low, and wants to shut off. RPMs were fine before. Thought possible bad gas. Drained/cleaned gas tank, removed and cleaned carb. Still low RPMs. Any help appreciated.
wingless
Welcome to the forum. The low rpm symptom sounds like either the throttle plate is not fully open, the choke is partially closed or insufficient fuel is being provided. jim roller
excuse my ignorance, so the throttle plate sits atop the carb where the throttle cable attaches.
