billkater Posted July 30, 2023 Report Share Posted July 30, 2023 I purchased the DCN692B the other day. I was using it for the first time today. Ran about 10 or so clips of nails thru it. Now it won't shoot. In single fire mode it will start to spin up when you press the nose in. But it doesn't sound right like it never makes it to full speed. When I pull the trigger it will shoot but never drive full. About half way on a 3" nail. Then it locks up. Have to reset it with the stall reset lever. I take the battery out. Wait 10-15 seconds. Put it back in. Most the time it still will not reset. The led just flashes. Where should I look first? Or return it as defective? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Eric - TIA Posted July 30, 2023 Report Share Posted July 30, 2023 Someone else had this issue. Never heard the solution but I am pretty sure they returned it as it was defective. If you are all ready having issues, I wouldn't even waste your time. I would just return it and get a new one. Overall these are great nailers and haven't heard too many complaints.
