Stressedarf Posted December 12, 2023 Report Share Posted December 12, 2023 Bought a professional GST160 BCE jigsaw before covid , motor shattered after about 12 hours use over 8 months , took over a year because of Covid to have it replaced, second model again lasted about 6-8 months then lost all power, had it repaired out of warranty ( ran out after Covid delay) . Again only lasted about 3 months . Not using it daily , usually once a month or 2 . Went back to Bosch after problems with a dewalt jigsaw shearing internal bolts , will return to Dewalt because I can replace the small bolts. Expensive mistake trusting a Bosh Professional jigsaw. Eric - TIA Posted December 13, 2023 Report Share Posted December 13, 2023 That's a bummer. I have the Bosch and love it without any problems. Bosch is known for their jigsaws.
