seanbarnett
Im going to build some shelves in my garage similar to the ones in Dans garage in the background of their videos. Im pretty sure they are just 2x4 and plywood. Anybody have some suggestion, things to avoids, common mistakes, or pictures of ones you have built i would love the help. Thanks
DR99
The biggest thing is to make sure everything is square and level. Also make sure everything is fastened down well also. Don't use drywall screws use if you do use screws use deck screws as the fastener.
Harold Wray
Hey Seanbarnett, I sent you a pm because I couldn't find your other post. That sounds cool Seanbarnett! The plywood sheet walls will make for a great surface for putting shelves/hooks/etc anywhere you want. No looking for studs behind sheetrock. Here's something I found on family handyman's website: http://www.familyhandyman.com/garage/storage/garage-storage-ideas-find-unused-space/view-all I would like to hear how it works out.
