FrosBros82
At the Home Depot and I saw this deal on a 1" hammer drill for $199.99. Seems decent since it also comes with a 4 1/2" grinder. Fair market price?
chadlanthier
Not to bad of a kit, but it is corded. Better deal would have been cordless.
kornomaniac
Only " negative thing " thing about that rotary: Sometimes when you want to switch from drilling --> hammer drilling --> chipping you will have to turn the bit/chuck a little bit for the gears to fall in place. Else the switching wont work. If you know what i mean Not really a problem but i just had a few customers coming back to me saying the selector knob was stuck who didn't know about gears that can be 'stuck' unless you turn the chuck a bit
FrosBros82
Yeah, cordless would have been better. Too bad there is no way you will find a price that cheap for a cordless hammer drill and grinder.
