Hey guys im new here.

I have a milwaukee 6520-21 sawzall that i got from a friend. However when i turned it on the motor runs but the reciprocating shaft does not move. You guys have any ideas what the problem might be? I want to get it fixed but milwaukee doesn't give any estimates and i dont want to spend at max 90 dollars to fix it. So if u guys can help me out that would be great.

It most likely is the drive shaft and main gear, which could cost anywhere between $60.00-$120.00 with parts and labor. Of course unless someone opens it up and takes a look, who really knows fore sure. We are located in Salt Lake City, Utah and do free estimates on all power tools and are a Milwaukee authorized service center. You are more than welcome to ship the tool to us and our experienced technician can tell you if it would be worth repairing (and you are only out a shipping fee).
