Kelly
I went to my local hardware stor today to buy my dad a ladder for Christmas. I noticed they had a bunch of different ladders, who would have though this would be so hard. They had type 1, type 2. Then they had an aluminum ladder for $54 that weight 35 pounds and a fiberglass that wweight 25 lbs. for $125. What is the difference or can some tell me a little bit about the ladders. I don't know what to get.
Eric - TIA
I am going to look through some of our old articles that we never posted and see what I can find. In the meantime here is a link we posted a while back about ladders. We found the artcile and made a post. This article talks about the differences between ladders
Circusmonkey
Buy a real ladder. Don't buy one of these gimmick ladders. Ever seen the guy fall off the ladder on the home shopping network? It's on YouTube. It's not the ladders fault, but just made me think of it. Buy a real ladder. I know I wasn't much help
power_tools
Make sure your ladder is sturdy and safe. That is the thing that is protecting you from falling. If your ladder is old and rusty spend the money to invest in a new one.
