NotreDame1135
Hi, I'm a first year carpentry student I'm looking to buy a compressor for moulding, trim, and roofing. I'm not too sure where to start looking. Any suggestions of brands or models?
kruton
I'm a big fan of Rolair. Depends on your budget I guess. I have the Rolair Bull for a portable compressor. We have one of the big Rolair uprights at our farm shop too. The JC10 is another nice Rolair unit. Quality units!Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
DR99
Rollair or california air tools make nice compressors. They nice thing is they are quiet too compared to other compressors. The sound of an air compressor can get old really quick.
Conductor562
It's hard to beat the Rolair JC-10 for a single user portable. Excellent quality, whisper quiet, light, and sufficiently powered.
WeldfabNeil
I have a roll air vt25big. It's a great compressor, like any product from roll air. They are more expensive then a Big box Home Depot compressor, but work better. For you if your just running nail guns you could probably go with a smaller model then I have. I run a plasma cutter off mine an it is a push for it with it only rated at putting out 6.5 CFM. A brad nailer usually doesn't even take 1 CFM.
