ChrisK
But this would be pretty cool to have around the house. I took these at the Deerfield fair a couple of weeks ago and they are steam powered tools. Most notably a bandsaw, saw, and drill press. Pretty cool to have out front being manned by the damned. Especially on Halloween!!
BMack37
One of my favorite parts of Jay Leno's Garage is when he covers his steam engines, they're facinating how much power and how smooth they are and they're all soo different. Cool stuff man, thanks for sharing
DR99
Man electricity is so much easier to work with I do love the old steam powered stuff though
Trim guy
Just keep all loose clothing out of moving parts and it'll work fine
kruton
They used to have quite a few people come in with stuff like that at our county fair but the last few years they haven't been showing up. Kind of disappointing. I always enjoyed walking around checking their stuff out. Thanks for the post.Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
ChrisK
Actually I have to agree with you BMack, the machine didn't make hardly a sound. The steam engine was pretty quiet too. You know except when it would pop on occasion. I imagine myself on the bandsaw with some really nice Sapele and jumping straight into the blade when it goes pop or tripping on the log cutting blade that's about a foot off the floor!
